Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile! My name is Shayla. I used to be a rover walker and have fired it up again! I live in north Sanford and work in chapel hill during the academic year! I would be happy to help you and your pup! I was a division 1 athlete at the University of Michigan and recently finished grad school at Jacksonville University. I have plenty of energy to keep up with dogs of all sizes! I began as a Rover walker in Ann Arbor and I walked small poodles and Great Danes, beagles and greyhounds. Whatever the breed or the size, I’m happy to keep the pace and stay active playing fetch, jogging or just relaxing after a tiring day! I have both walked dogs and dogsat since college and have really enjoyed all the time I’ve gotten to spend with pups! my summer schedule is pretty flexible so we can plan for regular walks or I can come watch your dog while you head out on vacation or on a business trip! I’m happy to send you pictures while you’re away or even while we walk if you’d like! I can also provide references from my past jobs! Also noteworthy- I have experience caring for dogs with special needs as they recover from surgeries or battle other injuries, etc. I am happy to be a companion on their journey through it all! Shayla was fantastic! This is my first experience with Rover and my very first puppy. Puppies are wild and a lot of work but Shayla was not put off by this at all and took great care of Daisy all day and even offered to pick her up! Shayla was prompt, professional and responsive. I will definitely use Shayla again!
Shayla walked my dog for a long time and she did a fantastic job. She was caring and very loving to my boy Caesar and she was very flexible with times I would throw her way. She is a great choice for your dog!

Schedule
My schedule is relatively flexible each day so if your dog is sticking with me, I will have plenty of time to give him/her attention or plenty of time to drop in for multiple visits so he/she can get all the potty breaks they need!

A typical day
I love being outside so your dog will get plenty of exercise if they like to walk or play fetch. If your dog likes to lay around or its a bit too hot to stay out very long, we'll relax inside!
