My senior dog recently passed away and I would love some extra puppy love until I’m ready to adopt my next lil buddy! I have been puppy sitting and walking for 10 years for family and friends or whoever hears about me! I am super trustworthy and reliable, and overall just love animals. I have experience in house sitting and walking dogs ranging in size from dachshunds to 90 pound boxers and labs. Many were hound mixes that loved to tug especially when a squirrel or rabbit were in sight! I’ve even had owners tell me their pet seems more sad whenever I leave, than when they do. I am experienced and eager to share my time with your furever friend! Thank you for looking at my profile!

Shayla was SO amazing. Our regular caretaker went on a holiday break and so we really needed someone to come and let our 1 year old Cane Corso out during the day while we were away at work. Shayla helped us out in a HUGE way and came to meet Boog and let him out a few days and play and she was so awesome. She was so patient with our pup even when he needed to warm up to her all over again during her first visit with him and after that it was game over he was smitten and I could tell from how well he slept through the night how much he enjoyed playing with her during her stop-in visits. Shayla’s updates and photos were a joy to read and she kept us so informed. It was such a pleasure meeting her and working with her! Highly recommend and we will absolutely work with her in the future! Thank you Shayla you ROCK! :)

I requested Shayla's services without much notice. I have a dog with a high level of anxiety and left specific instructions for how to deal with him. She followed the instructions perfectly and sent me photos and a note to let me know about the visit. I couldn't ask for more.

Shayla did a wonderful job watching my older dog! She was extremely communicative both prior to the sitting and during. I definitely felt at ease knowing my dog was with someone trustworthy. I’d 100% recommend booking!

Schedule
I am working full-time with a nonprofit where I may work some weekends, AKA my schedule is always changing but tend to know at least a week in advance. Last minute bookings always welcome if I have the availability!

I treat every critter I sit as if they were my own! Of course they’ll be allowed on my furniture so I can have maximum cuddles.
A typical day
I LOVE high energy pets. I will play ball or tug inside as much as I can, but I do love a long stroll outside. Continued training using your same hand motions and key words are also important to me to keep consistent!
