I was a cat sitter when I was younger and when I lived out on my own I adopted a kitten who I absolutely loved and created a special bond with. Some cats need extra time and space when getting to know someone new. I am very respectful and understanding of this. I have dog sat for many family members and friends over the years and well as had a dog in a four year partnership. I had three cats and a dog which I cared for on a regular basis. I walked our dog daily and made sure she got the right amount of play according to her weight, breed, and needs. Each animal is unique and requires different types of care. I am eager to get to know your pet’s personality and meet their needs the best I can.

Shayla was very communicative and sent photos of our pups to us regularly. The pups seemed like they enjoyed their time with her and they got lots of attention/cuddles! We will definitely reach out to Shayla when we need a sitter in the future!

Shayla is one of the only people I fully trust with my dog, Lola. She’s incredibly good with dogs and just has that natural way with them. Lola can be a little selective with people, but she absolutely loves Shayla, which says everything. Shayla has watched her several times and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

Schedule
I walk every day. I would love to give a not only needed exercise but to feel some joy while sniffing around and seeing the sights of the neighborhood. As far as pet sitting, my job is very flexible as I work a few hours weekend mornings and a few hours two evenings out of the week. I currently have no pets of my own to care for, so I have a lot of free time to dedicate to other’s pets.
