Welcome to Bed N. Biscuit Petcare!❤️ My name is Shayla (34 years old) and I am excited to share my petsitting journey/business with you. ▪️Get to know me: I was born and raised in Valdosta, GA. In my hometown, I volunteered at the local animal shelter for 4 years working with domestic, exotic and farm pets. I knew then animals was my love and enjoyment. Following my passion for animals, I moved to the city of Savannah where I graduated from Armstrong State University with a bachelors in Biology and volunteered at a local wildlife rehabilitation center. I have learned and developed my Veterinary skills and knowledge from working as a kennel technician caring for pets in a boarding environment then naturally transitioning to a Veterinary technician career at a general vet hospital and then later at a specialty practice that included oncology, neurology, physical therapy, internal medicine and also ER. I enjoy applying my years of experience to the well-being of animals and now offering pet care services. My dream home would be living on a farm but for now my husband (Antonio), our son (Levi) and I live with our pitbull mix (Oreo), pitbull puppy (Pixie), bearded dragon (Arlo) and a fish (Zira). When not volunteering or fostering, I can be found at dog parks with Oreo and Pixie or fishing with my husband and son. I currently work 3 days out the week at Pooler Vet Hospital and offer drop-in services around my work schedule and boarding in my home. ****Please continue to read to ensure full understanding of my business. Thank you for your interest and consideration. **** ————————————————————— [Bed N’ Biscuit’s Information] ▪️Complimentary Meet & Greet Meet & Greet (one): Drop-in meet & greet are done at the location the pet is needing care and scheduled upon our agreed date and time (video chat option also available). If you would like more than one meet & greet then a drop-in fee is applied. ▪️Drop-in Visits We offer 30 minute and 60 minute drop-in visits for pets (cats, dogs, chickens, fish, hamster/Guinea pig, horses, some reptiles). I care for your pet(s) in the comfort of their own home. Great for potty/play breaks during long work schedules and extended vacations or for more sensitive/elder pets for example. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my dog this weekend! From the moment she picked him up, I felt completely at ease. She went above and beyond by sending lots of pictures and videos throughout his stay and kept me updated daily on how he was doing, which meant so much to me. What truly stood out was how thoughtful and caring she is—when I mentioned it was his birthday, she put up a birthday banner, gave him a special cookie, and even took adorable photos of him celebrating! It was such a sweet and personal touch that showed how much she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. My dog came home happy and well cared for. She is an awesome sitter, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and loving. I will definitely be booking with her again!

Bella loves Shayla! We came home earlier than expected and Shayla was still with our baby. When she left, Bella went all over the house trying to finder her. We are so grateful to have her for our baby.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Shayla. It’s a great feeling knowing someone will love on and treat our sweet boy just like we would. She is detailed with her report cards and takes a ton of pics. I could not be more pleased with how she cares for our puppy 🐾

Schedule
I’m currently working as a Vet Tech 3 days a week so I offer drop-in and boarding services around my work schedule and am a stay at home mom when not at the hospital.

I care for pets in the comfort of their own home and stick to the owners routine as much as possible. All care needs will be met for both owner and pet. Any boarding dogs will receive all care and routine in the comfort of my family home. Boarding is provided 1 per household at a time with a max of 2 pets per household. A typical day
I love to provide fun owner approved enrichments during your pets drop-in visit and boarding stays. These can include lickimats, slow feeder bowls, puzzle, toys, games, neighborhood walks/dog park fun. Of course lots of attention and cuddles are included! Feeing is performed based off owners notes/routine for pet.
