Grew up on a farm!
I grew up in the Seattle area on a plot of land with a little farm! I love animals of all shapes and sizes and have dealt with lots of different temperaments and breeds. Although I’m not an expert, I’ve done a lot. In college I volunteered at the humane society and walked dogs and I have two babies of my own (one pug and one cat).

Shaye is an amazing pet/ house sitter. She has helped me out many times. She is responsible and loves pets. She has never forgotten to lock a door. She has cared for my goats, sheep, cats, dogs, chickens, ducks and horses. She will gather mail and set out garbage. I highly reccomend Shaye for pet care.
I have known Shaye since she was a Freshman in High school! She babysat my girls for years as well as taking care of our fury field babies when we were out of town. She has a wonderful, gentle way with animals, wonderful calm energy. I had a very quirky llama for many years who lots of folks were scared to deal with, but Shaye took him in her stride. Shaye is super kind, caring, conscientious & very capable to care for any animal no matter how big or small. I would 100% recommend her caring or your furry babies.
I have actually known Shaye since BEFORE she was born! She has grown up to become a lovely woman, and lived a life surrounded by animals on her families farm about a mile from me. I was in a bind this spring when I needed to go out of town and my daughter could not housesit for me. I had a 4 month old puppy at the time, along with a mature dog, a cat and horse. Shaye's sister (who is my dog trainer) reminded me that Shaye was home from college (graduated) and might be able to house sit for me! Fortunately she was available and had done a great job for me in the past, so I was so relieved that she could be there with all my creatures. She takes very good care of the pets and my home, leaving things perfectly neat and tidy and pets happy!

Schedule
I’m currently a swim coach so my commitments are in the evenings for 2-3 hours. Before and after work there will be lots of opportunities to get their energy out and play outside.

I’m in an apartment so all dogs must be potty trained and not prone to chewing- or be okay in a crate. Our outside area is completely fenced but doesn’t have much grass so we love to go on walks through the neighborhood.
Pets
A typical day
We love going on walks around the neighborhood, and going to the park to play fetch. My dog Willy plays well with dogs of all shapes and sizes so playing together will be a great activity!
