What sets me apart from other animal sitters is the level of attention, care, and communication I bring to every pet I look after. I treat animals like family and take time to understand their unique routines, personalities, and needs. I have experience with dogs, cats, and small animals—including those with special medical or behavioral needs—and I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, and giving plenty of enrichment and love. I also keep pet owners updated with regular photos and messages, so they always feel connected and at ease while they're away. When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I aim to keep everything as familiar and stress-free for them as possible. I follow all routines—feeding, walks, medication, and playtime—exactly as directed. I also make sure the home is kept clean and secure while I’m there. I give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I communicate regularly with the owner, sharing updates and photos to keep them informed and reassured.

Shaya was amazing with our girls. I was a nervous wreck leaving them and she ensured I had nothing to worry about. My kitties took to her very quickly which was remarkable since one of them is incredibly shy and standoff ish. They were very happy girls when we got home, though I think Pickle one of my cats misses her lol 😆 Thank you so much Shaya, we will definitely rebook with you for any future adventures!!
Shaya was very punctual and provided great care for our outdoor cat. Our cat Callie is normally very shy around new people but she warmed up to Shaya very quickly. We will definitely request her again.

Schedule
I’m currently in school and as a student I make sure to organize my schedule so that I can consistently provide reliable care. I build pet care into my routine the same way I do classes or assignments—by planning ahead. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening feedings, I set aside specific time blocks so that pets get the attention and care they need. I’m very mindful of time management, and since I enjoy being around animals, caring for them actually adds a healthy balance to my week. It gives me a break from screens and schoolwork and lets me do something active and rewarding.
