I’m back after a short hiatus!! I’m a lifelong animal lover but cannot have pets of my own at this time because of my housing situation. But turns out, this works out perfectly! So many people need a loving, responsible and reliable person to care for their homes and pets while they are away, so I am able to help out and also get my puppy/kitty cuddle fix! My 22 year old daughter and I do many jobs together, so we are basically two sitters in one! (Of course, I am always the sitter on any job booked through Rover.)

I do my very best to accommodate whatever your furbabies are used to so that they have the least possible amount of disruption to their lives when you are away. My hope is that your pets will soon see me as part of their family and will feel just as comfortable when I am there as when you are. (Don’t worry…. I will make sure they still love YOU more!)

Shay is so great! When I met her, I knew immediately she was a pet lover like me. She took care of my three girls and stayed in constant contact with me. I did not worry one time when I was out of town! I so appreciate her. She is my go to now😁
Shay was a great caregiver for our two pups. She communicated often and sent plenty of photos of their time together. We liked that she asked questions about any concerns she may have had. She left our home in top shape. When we returned, our pups seemed happy and well cared for. We will use Shay again.
Shay took wonderful care of our 6 month old puppy. She communicated with us the entire time we were away, didn't hesitate to ask questions, and even made sure all dishes were clean, towels and sheets were laundered, and the bed fully made when we returned. Highly recommend!
5-Star Pet Sitting Experience! We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter for our two small dogs! From the moment we met, it was clear that Shay was not only reliable but truly cares about animals. Throughout our time away, she kept us updated regularly with pictures and messages, which made us feel so much more at ease. It was such a thoughtful touch, and it was clear our dogs were in great hands! Our pups can be a bit shy with new people, but Shay made them feel comfortable and loved. Our most anxious pup, Winnie, warmed quickly to her. We came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs, and we couldn't be more grateful for the care and attention she gave them. It was such a relief knowing that our dogs were not only safe but also getting plenty of cuddles and attention while we were away. We will definitely be booking her again for future trips and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and communicative pet sitter!
Shay was amazing. She took excellent care of both our house and our two dogs while we were gone. One of our dogs takes multiple medications a day for allergies and other various health issues and our other dog can be very high energy/anxious. She handled everything with ease, and we were able to have a great vacation without worrying about a thing. She spent tons of time with the dogs and our house was spotless when we got home. I would highly recommend her.
Shay did a great job overnight dog sitting at our home for 1 night with our two dogs. She cared for them, sent us pictures, and tidied up the house. I would recommend her and will definitely have her back in the future!

Schedule
I am self employed, so I have flexibility to work around your pet’s needs. I am available to spend the time needed to not only show your pets love and attention, but see to the needs of your home, plants, mailbox… you get the idea! And I will always be transparent about the times that I do need to be away, so that you can be sure you are choosing the right sitter for your pet’s needs.

- The more info I have on your pets, the better. I would like to know any health or behavioral issues, as well as what makes them super happy (or even slightly annoyed!) I mean, everyone just wants to be understood, right? Your pets are no different… except they can’t tell me themselves! So, we are counting on you to properly introduce us! I also would love a written outline of the details we discuss at the meet & greet, like feeding schedule, medications, etc. so that I can refer to it as often as needed while you are gone!
