Daily Routine: Built for Attentive Care I work a remote, independent travel business, my day is structured, quiet, and highly flexible. Here is how my daily schedule directly benefits your pets in my care: 1. Morning Block: Smooth Routines & Breakfast My Routine: Starting myworkday, reviewing my calendar, and settling into focus mode. Pet Care Fit: Perfect timing for morning feedings, fresh water, quick morning play or touch sessions, and administering any morning medications or medical routines right on schedule. 2. Core Business Hours (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Dedicated Presence & Low Stress Your Routine: Managing client itineraries, handling bookings, and focusing on client communications from my laptop and phone. Pet Care Fit: This is where the magic happens for pet owners! While I work quietly: Anxious & Senior Cats: Get a peaceful, quiet home environment with a calm human presence nearby—no loud noises or chaos. Lap Companions: Aging or cuddly cats can sleep right next to my workspace or on my lap while I work on my computer. Midday Check-Ins: Easy access for periodic hydration checks, litter box scoops, or midday medication schedules without interrupting my work. (Also, very flexible if your pets need me to take care of something,) 3. Afternoon Block: Playtime & Client Updates My Routine: Wrapping up business admin, stepping away from the screen, and planning for the next day. Pet Care Fit: Dedicated time for interactive play (wand toys, treats, running around outside), and sending detailed photo/video updates to pet owners while they're unavailable. Why My Remote Work Advantage Benefits Your Pet: I work remotely as a travel advisor, which means your pet gets full-time company, not just a quick 30-minute drop-in! Constant Supervision: I work quietly from my laptop, providing a calm, steady human presence in your home all day long. Strict Medical Schedules: Because I control my environment, medications and special health care protocols are given at the time they’re due. Zero Separation Anxiety: Your pet gets endless companionship, lap snuggles while I work, and a stress-free environment.

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Shawny! Lifetime Animal Lover & Dedicated In-Home Pet Caregiver When you leave home, you shouldn’t have to worry about whether your pets are safe, comfortable, or getting the precise care they need. Animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember, and I treat every pet in my care with the exact same level of love, devotion, and attention to detail that I give my own family. Currently, my household includes one beloved dog and two spoiled cats, so our home is constantly filled with snuggles and a whole lot of affection! Specialized Experience You Can Rely On I don’t just offer basic feeding and gentle walking—I specialize in high-touch, attentive care for pets who need extra TLC, specialized routines, or a gentle hand: Medication Administration: Experienced in giving daily medications, tailored supplements, and specialized health routines. Special Health Care: Fully comfortable handling delicate health protocols (including support and tracking strict dietary/hydration needs). Senior & Elder Pet Care: Experienced in caring for aging companions who need extra patience, mobility assistance, and a calm, comforting presence. Anxiety & Nervous Pets: Skilled at reading animal body language and providing a safe, low-stress environment for pets who get overwhelmed or anxious when their owners are away. What You Can Expect When I Pet Sit: Total Peace of Mind: Your pets stay in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by their familiar smells and routines. Regular Updates: Photo and video check-ins so you never have to wonder how your fur babies are doing. Respect for Your Home: I treat your house with complete care and respect—leaving it clean, secure, and just as you left it. Unlimited Snuggles & Attention: Plenty of belly rubs, cuddles, and companionship so they feel thoroughly loved every single day. Whether your pet is an energetic pup, a senior who needs a gentle routine, or a cozy cat who loves warm laps, I’d love to help give you total peace of mind while you’re away. I am also respectful if they don't want to be touched or cuddled. Reach out today to see if we are a match!

Shawny is AMAZING!!! She has a great calm personality that my cattle dogs really loved! The place looks great, she cleaned up after herself. Lots and lots of pictures, great communication. You can tell she genuinely loved spending time with your pets. I would recommend to anyone!

Their home has pets. They take really good care of them. One dog, one inside cat, and one outside cat. They are their family. D. Desavedo

Shawny is trustworthy, dependable, and caring! I absolutely recommend her. She is our go-to sitter, and always goes the extra step to make sure that the animals are given individual attention and love. Each pet gets what they need, whether it’s pats and scratches, medications, special feeding arrangements, or earning the trust of a shy kitty. She also sends the cutest photos and updates to give you peace of mind while you’re away!
