Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, my top priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I stick to their routine as closely as possible—ensuring regular walks, feeding times, playtime, and plenty of attention. I always keep the space clean and make sure pets have everything they need, from fresh water to cozy spots for resting. If a pet stays in my home, they’ll have a fun, welcoming environment where they can relax, play, and feel right at home. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, I treat them like family!

This is now the third time we have used Shawnette to take care of our dogs while we were out of town and couldn’t be more pleased with her and her care. We were gone for 10 days this time and she took incredible care of our dogs and even won over our very shy girl. We will absolutely book with her again!

Schedule
I’m currently in school on weekdays in the morning, but I’m available for walks and pet care after 3 PM. If you need overnight care, I can stay the night, make sure your pup is happy and comfortable, go to school in the morning, and come right back to care for them. I’m dedicated to providing loving, reliable care to fit your schedule!

- Before caring for a pet, I like to know important details to ensure they’re safe, happy, and comfortable. Things like their daily routine, energy level, and any special needs help me provide the best care possible. I also ask about their feeding schedule, medical history, medications, allergies, and any behavioral quirks—like if they’re shy, anxious, or not great with other dogs. Knowing their favorite activities, commands they respond to, and any house rules (like furniture restrictions) helps me keep things consistent. The more I know, the better I can make sure your pet feels at ease and well cared for!
