Rover is my full time job and I’m available 24/7. I’m blessed enough to have the flexibility to pursue this as my only job and am always excited to welcome new clients to schedule. I currently offer walking and drop in services. *** I offer housesitting services if my husband can come along.*** I only see him in the evenings so I don’t like to spend that time sleeping elsewhere. If you’re amenable to that then I can accommodate your house sitting needs. I’m flexible, adaptable, and reasonable and am open to creative ways to meet your pets needs and schedule that works for my business, but also within your budget. Never be afraid to ask questions or suggest solutions!

I meet clients on their turf. I’m amenable to most specific needs of the furry friends I’m caring for. I love to snuggle, play and explore the world with the pets I’m tending to! Hikes are a blast. Engaging with animals benefits my mood, but it’s also essential for their wellbeing and anxiety levels that they get that interaction and love.

No breed preferences. I only ask that if your dog is temperamental or aggressive that I be given a heads up so I can determine what, if anything, I need to do to make the stay go smoothly.
A typical day
Activities vary from one animal to the next, of course. But a typical day might include walking outside, throwing around a favorite toy or stick (inside or out), pets and snuggles and treats (if provided/allowed). And of course, plenty of audibly imagined conversation provided by yours truly, bc are you really a pet owner if you don’t talk to and for your pet? ???♀️

Pet care experience
I'd like to start off with the fact that I have 3 dogs and a kitty at at home and have been caring for my own animals almost my entire adult life. I also foster the occasional stray until I find them a forever home. Animals bring me so much joy. I'd love to say I'm not one of those people that talks to their pets, but I totally am. We have "conversations" all the time. I love interacting with other's pets. Playing, curling up for pets and snuggles, hiking etc. and am available 24/7! I offer drop ins, walks, and housesitting. ***When I housesit, my husband usually comes along bc evenings are our only time together. If that’s something you’re amenable to, I can accommodate your housesitting needs😊*** I also don’t mind checking mail, bringing in packages and watering plants. (I have 70 houseplants so I have experience there 😉) I don't mind a challenging animal either. I don't buy into the "aggressive breed" hype. Every animal is case by case. If you know your baby is particularly aggressive, let me know ahead of time and we'll see what we can work out. Communication is key!

Shawna has been taking care of my 3 cats for over 6 months now, at least twice weekly drop-ins. She is thoughtful, communicative and most importantly, I can tell how comfortable the cats are with her. Highest recommendation.
We had a very, very last minute request but shawna was able to come through for us and Luna and went above and beyond. We really appreciate everything she did and I don’t think Luna missed us one bit because of her
