I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I currently have a six-year-old golden retriever and a two-year old labradoodle who are both the sweetest part of our home. As a teacher, I spend my summers working with my sister at her dog-grooming salon, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like my own. I’m patient, responsible, and genuinely passionate about making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away.

Shawna was amazing! A true dog lover who made our doggies feel super comfortable for the entire stay. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to have the peace of mind knowing their dogs are in a safe environment while you are traveling.
Shawna provided a very comfortable and loving environment for my dog. I received pictures and updates on how she was doing, which brought me comfort knowing she was ok. My dog is a very timid girl, so having Shawna’s other fur babies brought my dog ease into a new environment. Also made her mini vacation fun! Highly recommend Shawna to watch your fur babies. Will use her again in the future
I know my little one’s in the best hands with Shawna. She sent photos first thing in the morning and took care of my pup as if my girl were her own—that’s all anyone can really ask for 🥹
Shawna was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly accommodating and communicative, which made the entire experience stress-free. Our dog had the best time and especially loved playing with her dog, Sonny. We felt completely confident knowing our dog was happy, well cared for, and having fun. Schedule
As a teacher, I’m available most weekdays, weekends, and fully throughout the summer. My boyfriend works from home, so there is always someone home with our two dogs, who love having furry friends around. We make sure every pup gets all the attention, comfort, and plenty of playtime.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I have a fully fenced yard where pups can play securely. If your pet needs to be crated, I’m absolutely willing to crate as requested to keep their routine consistent and safe.

A typical day
While your dog is with us, they’ll get plenty of exercise and attention. We go on daily walks and we’re lucky to live close to several parks, which gives your pup lots of variety and fresh air. They’ll also get supervised playtime in our fenced yard.
