Hi there! My name is Shawna, I’m 30 years old, I work in Human Resources, and I LOVE animals! I truly believe that animals are the key to a happy life! I remember from a very young age being extremely interested in all things nature - rabbits, toads, birds, and of course cats and dogs! Each animal is so unique and incredible. Growing up, I was very fortunate to have the companionship of dogs and cats and the guidance of my mother to teach me how to love and care for each one with kindness and gentleness. I have pet sit for many family members and friends over the years and am currently a proud parent to our 6 year old rescue cat, Chico. Currently, we live in a house that doesn’t accommodate the room a dog needs to be happy and comfortable. I am however lucky to live in a neighbourhood with many friendly dogs always looking for a pet and care for my in-laws’ 12 year old yellow lab, Bella, on a regular basis! I understand that walking and play time is crucial in maintaining a healthy lifestyle for your furry friend. I guarantee that your dog will be well loved and protected while in my care.
