Shawna was absolutely amazing. I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. I asked her to care for my elderly father’s senior dog, Sam, while my father was visiting me out of state and receiving medical care. From the very beginning, Shawna went above and beyond. She quickly recognized that Sam appeared to be in pain and encouraged me to schedule a veterinary appointment. She then promptly took him to the appointment, where he received medication that dramatically improved his comfort and quality of life. Throughout Sam’s stay, Shawna sent daily photos and videos, which brought my father so much joy and peace of mind. It was wonderful to see Sam happy, active, and so well cared for. What impressed me most was how genuinely invested Shawna was in Sam’s well-being. She treated him as if he were her own dog, and I truly felt that he was loved and cared for every step of the way. In fact, when it was time to pick him up, I was almost reluctant to take him back because I knew he had been so happy and so well cared for with Shawna! I honestly feel like we found a guardian angel for dogs. If Shawna lived near me, I would travel far more often, knowing my own dog was in such capable and compassionate hands. Five stars simply doesn’t do her justice. She is exceptional.
