40+ Years Pampering Pets!
Over 40 years of experience with dogs! I grew up with dogs. My mom was a breeder and professional dog trainer so we always had many dogs and puppies in our home. I have extensive experience with all breeds of dogs in all stages of their lives. I am a homeschooling mom and owner of a local pet sitting business for over a decade. My husband cares for pets in their own homes, and I provide loving care for pets in our home. I am home full time. We are trusted members of our community, living in our same home in San Ramon for the past 25 years. I grew up with lots of pets in my home. Since my mom was a professional dog trainer and breeder, there were always lots of dogs and puppies in our home, and I was taught from a very young age how to love, respect, and care for them. I have raised many, many dogs from newborn puppies through their senior years. I am able to administer medication and care for dogs with special needs. I am a homeschooling mom of 3 boys (13-year-old twins and a 9-year-old), so we are all home during the day. Dogs who stay with us get lots of attention, play time, and walks around our quiet gated neighborhood. My home is centrally located in San Ramon near the Marketplace. I would love to be a loving friend for your furbaby and a trusted partner for you in their care. :-) I am home full time. As a homeschooling parent, the kids and I are home all day and love to take the dogs for walks and lots of play time. We provide a safe and loving environment for the dogs in our care. We have a fully enclosed balcony where the dogs can play off leash, and all walks are done on-leash in our quiet, gated community with low-traffic.

Shawna took a good care of our dogs, our dogs look pretty happy back home. She is very responsive and professional during the boarding, and every message was replied within 10min. My flight was delayed at the end date, but Shawna accommodated the schedule change. I would definitely recommend Shawna and will choose her for the next time

Schedule
I am home full time caring for the dogs that stay with us homeschooling my 3 children. This is my full-time business, I don’t work outside of my home.

Pets in my home become part of our family. They are allowed on furniture, beds, wherever they feel comfortable and secure. They play with my kids and each other and go for walks and potty breaks with me on-leash in our quiet and safe community.

A typical day
I take the dogs for several walks per day as well as multiple play time periods with other dogs as well as kids, so the dogs get a variety of activities and experiences throughout the day.
