Let me take your dog on some great adventures, now that the sun is coming back out, that means long walks, dog parks and hikes! I'll feed and play with your pets per your instructions, cats included. I have four cats and a chihuahua, and I grew up with three large breed dogs. I love dogs of all sizes, and cats as well. Expert animal attendant, great petting skills. Willing to assist with grooming needs, including cleaning litter boxes, if necessary. Reliable transportation, defensive driver. Will spoil with dog or cat treats, as well as cat nip. Pet bathing is also something I am willing to do, dogs or cats, I'm not afraid of being scratched. Animal related chores are also included in my skill set.

I always connect with my client, and see if they have any specific requests for their pets, be that general care, walking needs, special feeding requirements. I want their pet to have as close to a regular day as possible. If it’s simply stop by and check, I’ll make sure to check all their dishes, clean as needed, and feed before I leave.

I appreciate Shawn and his care for my pups. Having an older dog makes me a little nervous while away however Shawn communicates if there are any concerns, anything I need to know.
Shawn is absolutely amazing. Our dog had a medical event that required Shawn taking him to the emergency vet. He was calm and collected and made sure our fur baby was taken care of. He definitely went beyond the extra mile.

This is the second time we had Shawn care for our dogs. He was great and the animals were well cared for.

If you are thinking of hiring a pet sitter look for someone else. Although Shawn had a good demeanor with our dogs from the first day he met them, he was a total disappointment with his job/contract delivery. Poor communication with updating in regards to our dogs status, if pictures were sent, they were of our dogs sleeping, and a mess could be seen in the surroundings, which only indicates that he was not keeping a clean environment in the house. The contract was for Shawn to dog/house sit for three weeks. At the time of the interview he was asked if his focus was one job at a time or one job with multiple commitments. Shawn stated that his focus and commitment is one job at a time. However, towards the end of the second week, there were reports from our neighbors that he was leaving the house at 0730-0800 and not returned until 7 pm or later. Which indicates that our dogs were unattended for 12+ hours. Shawn was advised that if in need or emergency to contact one of our neighbors for help with the dogs. But he never did. Shawn took it to himself to completely leave the dogs alone for extended periods of time. Once our neighbor and best friend became aware of this situation she took action as she loves the dogs and started to take care of them. Taking them for walks, feeding and spending quality time with them.

Schedule
I’ve had my cat, Arya, since 2017, and her care and needs are taken care of first, every day. I feed her, clear her dishes weekly, brush her and play with her favorite laser toy.
