I am a lifelong pet owner of rescue dogs and cats. Most recently I have rescued two street cats from Tunisia who we have brought home and rehabilitated here in San Antonio. I have experience with all types of ailments and behavioral disorders. This includes worms, skin problems, obsessive compulsive disorder, high anxiety, and more. I am patient empathetic and understand the pets needs even if it is just distance and I need to build trust.

I’ve been a lifelong pet owner and currently share my home with two wonderful cats we rescued from Tunisia, so I know firsthand how comforting consistency and a loving environment can be for an animal. When I board pets in my home, I recreate their usual feeding and play routines—mealtimes at the same hours, quiet spaces for rest, and interactive play sessions to keep them mentally stimulated. My cats love chasing puzzle feeders and batting at feather toys, so I’m always ready to match their energy and encourage positive socialization. I also keep my home fully secured, with breakaway collars, up-to-date vaccinations for all guests, and a clear emergency plan that includes your veterinarian’s contact information. In a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their pet’s established schedule and environment to minimize stress. I follow your care instructions exactly—whether it’s meal portions and preferred treats, litter-box scooping, or administering medications—and send daily photo or video updates so you can see how your pet is doing. I’m happy to take in any quirks, like extra cuddle time or favorite hiding spots, and will leave your home as tidy as I found it, with all feeding stations refreshed and any waste removed. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, loved, and perfectly cared for, whether they’re in their own home or mine.

I am Shawn Trumbo's mother. We always had pets, both dogs and cats. He was responsible for assisting in their care. As a true animal lover, he was happy to do so. As an adult he has always had cats which were always rescues. These cats are well cared for and pampered. He would provide any pet that he is assigned to care for the same excellent care he provides his own pets.

Schedule
I have a job that has a lot of scheduling flexibility, so I can fit in responsibilities wherever I can or wherever you need. I am available in mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
