Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I am retired and have a flexible schedule. I genuinely love having animals around throughout the day. I truly enjoy the companionship, warmth, and joy that pets bring into a home, and I understand how important it is for them to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Having grown up around animals, caring for pets has always come naturally to me. From energetic dogs who love adventure and exercise to cats who prefer gentle companionship and quiet comfort, I take pride in creating a warm, loving environment where pets feel happy, settled, and truly at home.

Before caring for your pet, I always love learning as much as possible about their personality, routine, and preferences so I can make them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Helpful things to know ahead of time include their feeding schedule, bathroom routine, exercise needs, favourite toys or activities, sleeping habits, medications (if any), and how they typically interact with people or other animals. I also appreciate knowing any quirks, fears, anxieties, or special comforts that help your pet feel relaxed and happy. Every pet is unique, and the more I know about what makes your furry family member feel loved and secure, the better I can provide personalized care, attention, companionship, and a positive experience while you are away.
A typical day
Keeping dogs happy, active, and engaged is something I genuinely enjoy. Depending on each dog’s personality and energy level, I love spending time going for walks, playing fetch, enjoying outdoor time, practicing basic commands or enrichment games, and giving them plenty of affection and companionship throughout the day. For more active dogs, I enjoy longer walks, hikes, and interactive play to help them burn energy and stay stimulated. For calmer or older dogs, I am equally happy spending quiet time cuddling, relaxing, and keeping them company so they feel safe and comfortable. My goal is always to make sure they feel loved, relaxed, entertained, and right at home.

I grew up on a farm with every kind of animal, which gave me a lifelong love and natural comfort around pets. From an early age, I learned the importance of daily care, routine, patience, and responsibility. I lead an active lifestyle and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors, making me a great companion for dogs who enjoy walks, exercise, and playtime. As I work from home, I am also able to provide consistent companionship, supervision, and attention throughout the day. Reliable, warm, and genuinely passionate about animals, I take pride in treating every pet as if they were my own.
