Important information I would love and appreciate to know about your pet includes: a) behavioral tendencies (e.g., does s/he get along with humans, other animals... do they bark at loud noises) b) are they potty trained (what do they expect when it comes to using the restroom)? c) do they have any special needs or requirements regarding attention, food, medicine, and so forth? d) emergency non-veterinarian contact information? e) how do they handle being at someone else's home? Thoughts include: do they chew, try to mark territory, munch on plants, etc.? f) vaccination and health status? Are they up to date on necessary veterinary requirements such as vaccines, worm and flea medicines, etc. g) any additional information that you believe is important and/or necessary that I know so that your pet has the happiest and safest experience they can while they are with me! Happy to be by your pet's side all day! Walks Cuddles Fetch Lots of play time! Belly rubs! Ear scratches! More cuddling! If your pet has a special game or activity they enjoy, please share and I will gladly play along!

Hello there, I hope your day is going splendidly, thanks for stopping by! My name is Shawn and I am all about fur babies (and scaly, watery, or crawly babies)! I would love to help you with your little one(s) -or giant one(s), the more the merrier! I have about 22 years of experience taking care of and working with dogs (ranging from small to giant pups), cats, and other animals*; both my own pets and other's. I'm super happy to accommodate any request you have regarding your pet(s), so please feel free to ask (I'll do my best)! I'm all about you being stress-free and your little one(s) happy and loved while their mom or dad are away! Rest assured that I will treat your pet as if s/he was my own (lots of love, attention, and play)! I am genuinely excited and deeply grateful for the opportunity to care for and love your animals. Thank you very much for your time and I hope you have a wonderful day! *Are you a pet owner who doesn't have a dog or cat? Don't dismay, I have also cared for a wide variety of our non-furry friends as well! I have maintained aquarium-based pets such as leopard geckos, a variety of snakes species, tarantulas, and even salt-water aquariums (with animals such as sponges, jellyfish, various crustaceans, etc). Additionally, I have cared for and worked with birds and small rodents (such as guinea pigs and hamsters). These experiences have been in both professional (as a zoology teacher working with live animals for educational purposes) and personal (I have a pet leopard gecko and rose-haired tarantula) settings. I have cared for colleagues and teachers' pets, friends' pets, and family members' pets -all resulting in happy and well-cared for babies!

Shawn was great with Molly, my dog. Molly is pretty easy to sit for, she is old and sleepy.
We chose to use Rover while we went on vacation due to issues with boarding in the past and I was so worried about leaving my pups with someone for a whole week. The younger one has some attachment issues and separation anxiety and has not been away from us more than two dats. Shawn did amazing while caring for our babies, even giving our poor boy his anxiety meds when he started throwing up! There were some issues with the rover app that prevented communication, but he reached out to my cell number with concerns. I even messaged him after I had already picked up the dogs with a couple of questions and he responded and communicated with me. Our pups were happy and well cared for and I will definitely be using Shawn again when we leave town!
This was our second visit with Shawn and we cannot recommend him enough!
We had a truly exceptional experience boarding our pup overnight with Shawn! He was extremely responsive, attentive, and cared so well for our boy. We would highly recommend and use his services again.
