Hello there, I hope your day is going splendidly, thanks for stopping by! My name is Shawn and I am all about fur babies (and scaly, watery, or crawly babies)! I would love to help you with your little one(s) -or giant one(s), the more the merrier! I have about 22 years of experience taking care of and working with dogs (ranging from small to giant pups), cats, and other animals*; both my own pets and other's. I'm super happy to accommodate any request you have regarding your pet(s), so please feel free to ask (I'll do my best)! I'm all about you being stress-free and your little one(s) happy and loved while their mom or dad are away! Rest assured that I will treat your pet as if s/he was my own (lots of love, attention, and play)! I am genuinely excited and deeply grateful for the opportunity to care for and love your animals. Don't dismay, I have also cared for a wide variety of our non-furry friends as well! I have maintained aquarium-based pets such as leopard geckos, a variety of snakes species, tarantulas, and even salt-water aquariums (with animals such as sponges, jellyfish, various crustaceans, etc). Additionally, I have cared for and worked with birds and small rodents (such as guinea pigs and hamsters). These experiences have been in both professional (as a zoology teacher working with live animals for educational purposes) and personal (I have a pet leopard gecko and rose-haired tarantula) settings. I have cared for colleagues and teachers' pets, friends' pets, and family members' pets -all resulting in happy and well-cared for babies!

I feel comfortable when Shawn is caring for my cat so I am able to relax with no worries when I am away!
This was the first time leaving our Husky for an extended time so was a little nervous. Shawn took great care of our baby and sent lots of pictures and communication on how she was doing every day we were gone. If you are looking for someone that is great with huskies (or any doggo), Shawn is the one!
Shawn is amazing with my dog Riley. Riley can be very anxious around new people, but she took to Shawn very quickly. He was helpful and patient throughout the whole process, from the meet and greet through the first daycare session. He sent me photos and updates throughout the day to let me know she was doing well. She was very happy when I picked her up! As long as Shawn is dog sitting, he will be in my go-to dog sitter!
This was our first experience using Rover and one of our babies needed extra special care as he is extremely scared of other people. Shawn was willing to take on the challenge and watched both our boys with no problems. He gave Rambo the time and attention needed to help him feel comfortable. We felt like he was in the best of hands. Highly recommend.
Shawn was wonderful with our big goofy dogs, and excellent with communication and scheduling! We would absolutely work with him again.
Shawn did a great job looking after my 2 special needs kiddos. They are seniors, who are insulin dependent and that can be tricky for sitters. I would trust him to take great care of them any time!

Working from home, I have an incredibly flexible schedule which affords me the opportunity to work around and with your animal to meet their needs!

Working from home allows me to pay extra attention to your pet, allowing for regular play and potty breaks. Additionally, there is a wonderful dog park and there is a lovely walking path nearby.
A typical day
Happy to be by your pet's side all day! Walks Cuddles Fetch Lots of play time! Belly rubs! Ear scratches! More cuddling! If your pet has a special game or activity they enjoy, please share and I will gladly play along!
