Information Shaw F. would like to know about your pet
For sitting I will only take small breeds as that's where most of my experience lies and I don't have a yard. I need to know that any dog I'm looking after is friendly with other dogs, how often they are used to going out, and what length of walks they are used to. Also any allergies or behavioral issues they might have.
A typical day
I live near multiple parks for walks and have my own small pup around for playtime. I love to sit with a dog on my lap and could snuggle a dog all day long. Dogs are always welcome on the furniture in my home.

Pet care experience
I've been a dog lover all my life and a dog owner for most of it. Most of my experience is with small dogs, but I haven't met a dog yet that I didn't love. I've read many books about dog behavior and training so I'm confident in my ability to cope with most situations. I've had a puppy, a geriatric dog, and everything in between, so I've experienced the entire continuum of dog aging and done everything from potty training to giving oral medicine. My schedule is flexible and I am home more than not so I'm almost always around to go for a walk or keep an eye on your pup. To misquote Benjamin Franklin "[dogs] are proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy".
