Our home is spacious and spread over five floors with a large, secure garden plenty of room for dogs to run, relax, and feel at home. We're a family of four, including two children aged 13 and 7 who are gentle, experienced with animals, and absolutely love dogs. A little more about me: I work from home, so your dog will have company and care throughout the day apart from quick 15-minute school runs in the morning and afternoon. I’ve owned and cared for many breeds over the years including Staffies, Labs, German Shepherds, Frenchies, Jack Russells, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and Rottweilers from the tiniest lap dogs to the biggest gentle giants. I’m confident and comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

I’m happy to accommodate dogs of all ages. All I ask is that they are comfortable around other dogs, children, and have basic manners around the home 😉 If you have any questions or want to know more, feel free to reach out. I’d love to chat and see how I can support you and your four-legged friend

Information Shaunna Victoria D. would like to know about your pet

Are they house trained? Helps me understand what to expect indoors. Do they get along with children and other dogs? I have children at home and we may meet other dogs on walks, so knowing their comfort level is essential. Are they crate trained? Let me know if they use a crate for sleeping, relaxing, or calming down I want to keep them feeling safe and secure. Where do they usually sleep? Their bedtime routine matters whether it’s a crate, bed, or sofa, I’ll aim to keep things familiar. What’s their feeding routine? Please share details like meal times, portion sizes, allergies, or food preferences. What games do they enjoy? From tug of war to fetch or scent games knowing their favourites helps me keep them happy and mentally stimulated. What are they like on walks? Do they prefer quiet paths or are they happy around the hustle and bustle of seafronts, parks, and busy areas?

A typical day

Our day starts with a relaxed morning, lots of cuddles, and a little garden potter to get their tails wagging. Once they’re settled, we’ll head out for an adventure whether it's a stroll along the beach, a wander through the country park, or exploring the beautiful East Hill. There’s always somewhere exciting just 10 minutes away! Back at home, we keep the fun going with games in the garden think ball-chasing, tug of war, and when the sun’s out, a splash in the paddling pool to cool down I also love keeping them mentally stimulated we’ll do simple training games, scent work, and interactive play to keep their minds sharp and tails wagging. Your dog will feel like part of the family, with plenty of attention, affection, and space to relax between all the fun.

Pets

Hello, I’m Shaunna! 👋

Pet care experience

If you're looking for someone caring to help with walks, or offer daily check-ins I’m here to help. I’ve had a deep love for dogs since childhood and have grown up surrounded by them. From family pets to our own fur babies, dogs have always been a big part of my life. I’m based in the beautiful Hastings Old Town, just a 10-minute walk from both the beach and the country park — perfect for all kinds of dog walks! Whether your pup enjoys a peaceful stroll or loves social adventures, I’ll tailor our outings to suit their personality and needs. We currently have an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever who’s the biggest softie and absolutely adores meeting and playing with other dogs. Sadly, we lost our lovely French Bulldog just before Christmas, leaving a big paw-shaped hole in our hearts. We also share our home with a friendly cat who spends most of her days exploring the woodland at the bottom of our garden.

Shaunna has been absolutely amazing, very accommodating and flexible. Don’t know what I would’ve done without her this week. 10/10 - Would highly recommend!

Shauna came to visit my boys while I was away for the day. She gave me a full detailed update with some gorgeous photos, fed them, cleaned their litter tray and made sure they had plenty of playtime. The whole experience was completely stress free and I felt totally reassured that my boys were in good hands.

Couldn’t have asked for more. Shaunna went above and beyond to make sure I had updates on boots even doing an extra check in when he was out exploring during the visit time. Boots was very well looked after and I returned to a happy puss 🐈
