I’m currently a doctoral student and do most work from home so my schedule is very open and flexible. I am available everyday of the week and open schedule for timing.

I do not have a backyard, however I live next to Midtown park that has a dog park that very few dogs attend and so your furry friend will have many opportunities to run around! I do have one anxious dog that will be kept away from your pet if needed. However, your pet will have access to the 2 bedroom apartment and their own room to sleep in.

I have fostered dogs and cared for both dogs and cats my entire life, and I genuinely enjoy helping people who need support with their furry sidekick while they are away. I am a pet parent myself to an anxious rescue puppy, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your animal. I have experience with reactive dogs, anxious dogs, and all kinds of rescue backgrounds. I have also had cats, so I am familiar with every temperament and never take anything personally. I previously cared for a senior dog who needed daily medication, so I am comfortable and experienced giving medications to both cats and dogs. I have fostered puppies and adult dogs as well, so I can easily handle any medication or special requests. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Shaunna has always made a dedicated effort to create and maintain dependable relationships with others. I know her to be responsible, caring, patient, and most importantly, communicative. She has consistently kept up with schedules created to feed multiple dogs, walk multiple dogs while watching for hazards, and give medication responsibly. She has cared for my dog Naz on numerous occasions, and to this day he is ecstatic every time he sees her. She has also helped care for my cat Kona—which is no easy feat—and arguably does a better job than I do.
Shanna is such a caring and responsible person, and she absolutely loves animals! She’s great with pets, very attentive, and always makes sure they’re happy and comfortable. I would definitely trust her with my own pet and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great sitter!
