Outdoorsy, fun family
I started out fostering dogs of all ages and medical issues for a few years before adopting our own 2 dogs. Unfortunately both of our dogs passed away 2 months apart, so we are currently dogless. I’m comfortable with any sized dog. We have a large fenced in back yard. I am comfortable giving any sorts of medications needed for any age and comfortable with senior dog care. We did go through dog training with our 2 dogs when they were younger, so can continue working on basic dog training skills with your dog if that is something you are working on. I also have experience with dogs with tick-borne diseases as one of ours had a couple bouts of it.

Schedule
We can adapt to whatever your typical dog walking/outside time schedule is. We like to spend a lot of time outside and on trails, so if your dog is one who likes trail walks, we are the right fit for you! I stay home with our 4 year old and my husband works from home so someone is pretty much always home.

We have a large fenced in backyard. We do have a toddler who loves dogs but also respects their boundaries. If I’m at your house I will follow whatever routine you do for your dogs!

A typical day
Our typical days includes plenty of outside time, which can include fetch if your dog likes that! We will take a walk every day, possible some longer trail walking if your dog is up to that. Can provide plenty of indoor stimulation as needed as well as cuddles!

- Their walk and feeding schedule. Any allergies. Typical daily routine. Due to the nature of this job and having dogs in our house frequently, we will not be able to accept any dogs that are sick with a contagious disease. We also ask that your dog be on a monthly flea/tick medication.
