Hey there - my name is Shauna. I have been working for rover almost 4 years now and have gotten to meet some wonderful people and pups along the way! My boyfriend, Nixley is my helping hand. Since we both live together in Westerly, RI it will be either him, me or both of us caring for your fur babies. We have been fur parents for 6 years and grew up with dogs our whole life, we truly love spending time with animals. Some call us the dog whisperers but I credit our dog attraction success by understanding that “it’s the dogs world and we are just living in it”. Dogs come first in our house. We are always excited to take our dogs on a hike, walk or puppy play date. We live in a house with a big back yard. We have sat numerous dogs both young and old and enjoy pup slumber parties. If your pup needs a bath, we are willing to scrub them in the tub. We are known to make homemade dog treats. Let your dog be spoiled by us! We care for pets based on specific needs and always keeping their best interests in mind. Being an animal lover - no animal is too big.

Shauna took wonderful care of our dog! She clearly has a lot of experience with animals. She provided us with updates throughout the day. We would definitely have her care for our dog again.
I’m giving Shauna and Nixley a five star. They snuggled with my furry family doggies, they sent pics, and chilled out with them. They met me in front of their house both coming and going. They were a happy positive couple who kept my dogs on leash and safe. I’ll be sending my dogs to Shauna and Nixley again.

Schedule
I work from home so my schedule is extremely flexible and can always be accommodated by need. I will be the main caregiver since Nixley works four days during the week. But we work as a team to make sure they are getting exceptional care.

I have a big yard, doggie play pen, doggie pool & if sleeping over they will have their very own room and crate (if needed).

Obviously, it is up to the specific dog or animal I am with! But ideal would be hide and seek with treats, fetch, long walks, tug of war, swimming or anything your fur ball wants!
