A pet makes every day better. I understand how important your pet is to you and your family. You know they deserve and require the best care when you can't be with them. I will take the time to get to know you and your pet to ensure your time apart is as easy as possible. I've been a pet parent. My shepherd/wolf/lab/husky, Morgaine, was a gorgeous handful and an amazing companion who loved to run in the woods, play hide and seek and sing accompaniment to the harmonica (picture in the profile). After she passed I took care of a friend's Labradoodle for one week a month for several years and pet sat for other friends and neighbours, a weekend at a time. have been a pet owner. I had an adventurous cat named Gandalf (picture in the profile) who brightened our lives with his quick intellect and inquisitive nature. I lived for a year with another beautiful long-haired ginger cat who took walks in the woods at our side. A few years ago I began begun caring for pets of families I nanny for. Now established in Victoria, I am looking to build new pet care relationships. Once we've ensured a good fit, I'd love to become your pets' ongoing companion for the times you can't be together. I have trained a puppy and support the training of other dogs in my care (know the amount of work, love and commitment it takes), but am not an expert. I have cared for pets with health issues and will work with your pet on rehab, if required.

I understand how important your pet is to you and your family. I will take the time to get to know your pet and make their and your time apart as easy as possible. Caring for your pet in your home includes caring for your home. You will arrive home to find it as clean or cleaner than you left it. Please leave me any info or contacts that could be useful.

Shauna did a fantastic job taking care of our pets for a couple of days over our wedding weekend. She asked loads of questions to make sure she knew what was needed for the pets, and we came home to happy animals and a clean home. Shauna was punctual for all our meetings, responded quickly to messages, and was very respectful of our time during a hectic period. Thank you so much Shauna (and I'm sorry it took so long to get this review up!).
Shauna was so great! We were in a bind looking for last minute care and she came through. We have 2 dogs anxious but sweet dogs. Some people get overwhelmed by their energy but Shauna got down on thier level and immediately made friends. She stayed at our house and left the place cleaner than we left it! I would highly recommend Shauna, she was polite, understanding and asked the right questions for our dogs.
Shauna was great. She was professional and kind. She took care of my Beastie and sent many updates and photos. My house was sparkling when I returned and I got to travel worry free. We will 100% be using her services again. Shauna is worth it.

Schedule
I am currently working out of the house part-time and from my lap top other times. I have both quality and quantity of time to spend with your pet. We can discuss your pet's individual needs to ensure my schedule can accommodate them. I am available for short (Minimum 3 day) and long term care. Stays shorter than 3 days may be subject to a $60 cleaning fee.

- It helps me to know your pet's schedule (walks/sleep/food/medication/play etc), favorite toy and what (and what not!) they are allowed to snack on. Please let me know how are they with strangers/skateboards/the mailperson/cats/dogs etc. Are they reactive and, if yes, how does this show up? Have they ever shown physical aggression? How are they best soothed? How do they typically respond when you are away? Is there anything particular to the breed that I should know to ensure they have proper care? Please note, if there is a considerable medical or hygiene need, there may be an additional charge for their care.
