Your Pet's Home Away From Home
I've had pets my whole life, and love the feeling of "home" that they provide. Dogs, cats, birds, and turtles were household members while my kids were growing up. We've added a horse, goats, and chickens to our backyard, but dogs hold a special place in my heart! I'm comfortable giving injections, after-surgery care, older pet care, and all sizes of dogs. No dogs with separation anxiety, please.

We boarded our dog, Milo, with Shauna for over a week and had a fantastic experience. Her communication was clear and consistent, and we always felt confident Milo was in good hands. He came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Drop-off and pick-up were smooth, and it was clear Shauna paid attention to Milo’s routine and comfort. We would definitely use her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.

Shauna took great care of my baby! I think my dog thought I paid to send her to camp! She had a great time and had some new experiences meeting her horse, goat and chickens… and the great chicken race! Scarlett says thanks for the cuddles and making her feel like she was at home! We’ll be booking Shauna again!

Always prompt and on time, very descriptive of how the walks go with my pup, also very friendly she cares for my dog as if it were her own, seriously think about hiring Shauna for any of the services she provides!

Schedule
As a recently retired teacher, I have lots of time to dedicate to your pet! We walk daily, have supervised play time in the fenced yard, and spend time together in the house.

Safety, trust & environment
My dogs are fed twice a day, and of course there's a lunch cookie midday! I have one small dog who is well-socialized with dogs of all sizes. Our house has stairs, so please let me know if your dog has mobility issues. I have chickens, a horse, and goats in my back yard, so the dogs like to join me for our twice-daily barn checks (from outside the fence, of course!)

A typical day
Your dogs will be introduced to some new friends at our property -- George the horse and Coco the goat! We'll take walks in the neighborhood, exploring the sights and sounds along the way. Playtime in the fenced backyard and in the house will keep them busy and entertained.
