I've been around animals my entire life. I had 2 dogs and a cockatiel growing up that I helped care for. I have personally owned dogs, rats, fish, rabbits, chickens and ducks. I also used to foster small animals for a local rescue and have found fantastic homes for over 50 small animals. I work a few hours a day from home so I have plenty of time to interact and take care of your pets & fur babies. I'm available most days and nights.

I personally have 2 dogs, a rabbit, chickens and ducks at my home so there are plenty of things to help keep your pets occupied and happy. I also used to foster small animals for a rescue I helped out with. My yard is unfenced, but I live on a quiet street and have an open area across from my home to play fetch or throw a frisbee with your dogs and mine. In regards to caring for pets in your own home I follow any directions you give me for food/treat schedules, how often they need to go outside, things your pets can and cannot do, etc.

Shauna was an excellent babysitter for Ginny! She sent regular updates and clearly was good to her. She went on plenty of walks, and was comfortable with Shauna there, despite her not having her family there. She was also respectful of our home. We came home to find that things were exactly as we left them. I fully intend to hire her again the next time we need a dog baby sitter and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter on Rover.
Above and beyond. Shauna is amazing and I have a whole menagerie of animals. I only asked her to take care of my dogs but she took care of everyone! I I'm so thrilled that I found Shauns through Rover. She is a blessing.
Shauna was wonderful with Ozzie. She came to our campsite and took care of him while we went out. She was flexible with her hrs. and came 2 days in a row. He gets very nervous whenever I leave and she was able to keep him calm and happy. He generally takes a while to warm up to people and he took to her immediately. I would highly recommend her.
Shauna was fantastic from top to bottom! She followed instructions, gave Barkley plenty of walks, sent photos, and even stripped the bed when she was done. Highly recommend!!
This was our first experience with having someone (other than us) watch our two pups. We hired Shauna to care for our 8 y/o Lab (who is blind) and our 4 y/o Shepherd for the weekend and our dogs loved her! She was in constant contact with us and sent multiple updates as well as pics of our fur babies, which was very much appreciated! I'm so grateful for the care Shauna provided in my absence - we will definitely be calling her in the future!!!
I get so nervous having someone care for my bloodhound because he is so big and very mischievous and silly. Shauna met with him and they got along great! She updated often on how he was doing, even sending pictures. She went above and beyond my expectations and treated him as though he was her own pup. It’s a relief knowing I have someone to take care of my fur baby so well when I need it! We for sure will be calling her in the future!
