Shaun is amazing! She is very thorough, and at the meet and greet asked questions about things I wouldn’t have thought of. She wanted to make sure she knew all the ins and outs of taking care of my pup. Her updates with each drop in visit were perfect. She provided the usual details, but also included little things that made me know my dog was in good hands. Knowing my dog was nervous with new people, she let me know that my dog was warming up to her and coming out of her shell. It was just what I wanted to hear to help ease my mind. I will definitely book Shaun again next time I need a sitter!

She is very detailed, enthusiastic and is passionate about her work. I’ve never known anyone to love animals as deeply as Shaun does. We have shared many phone calls, pictures and stories about our own animals. She has donated her time at Rescue Shelters and helped out in times of emergency situations to those in need. I have known Shaun for over 35 years. As an avid pet owner, and person who loves all types of animals, supports animal rescue organizations, my standards are high. I am delighted to share with you my personal experience as it pertains to Shaun’s character which demonstrates that she is highly qualified for the important job of caregiving for one’s four legged family member. Over the years, I have relied on Shaun to help care for many of my animals, including one of my dogs that had special needs. My dog was unable to use his hind quarters due to degenerative myelopathy and needed several devices to help support him. I always counted on Shaun when I needed extra help caring for him. She is very reliable, devoted and trustworthy. Additionally, I have seen Shaun go through extraordinary measures to provide around the clock care for some of her beloved fur babies when they were ailing and needed medicine in the middle of the night. She is devoted, compassionate and knowledgeable. I’ve observed Shaun’s enthusiasm to establish a bond and trust with my animals which includes my horses. Her extensive knowledge with horses has provided me with the education I needed so I could properly care for my own horses. I’m excited that Shaun is committing herself full time to giving others the gift of genuine love and compassion that my animals have had over the years.

I can’t think of anyone more naturally suited to work with animals than Shaun. She’s a lifelong animal lover who treats every pet like family, including mine! I’ve trusted her completely to care for both my cat and dog, and I wouldn’t think twice about leaving my animals in her hands again. She’s not just loving, she’s incredibly knowledgeable. She personally managed her own cat’s chronic kidney disease and hyperthyroidism for four years, giving that sweet cat a long, happy life until age 19. Her beloved dog also lived to 18, which says so much about the level of care and attention she gives. Beyond that, she’s spent her life surrounded by animals by riding horses all over the world, volunteering at shelters, and staying involved at various horse farms. She has been this way as long as I’ve known her. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen her without a fur baby (or two) by her side. If you’re looking for someone responsible, compassionate, and experienced, you won’t find better than her. Animals gravitate to her, and she gives them nothing but patience and love in return.
