I've grown up with dogs nearly my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I'm a us veteran I've looked after my own pets and others’ dogs with love and consistency for years for friends and family. For medications you may require my experience includes needles for insulin, crushed pills in food, liquid oral meds and lastly eye drops. I fully understand how important it is to stick to a treatment schedule.

Shaun did awesome with Ginger. He sent pictures and updated us daily. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing pet sitter. We will definitely be booking him again!
Unfortunately, our booking with Shaun fell through on the day of our scheduled drop-off, and the experience was extremely stressful. I reached out to Shaun about a month in advance, and he responded the same day confirming he was available, so we booked with him. A week before the stay, I also sent him my dog’s care sheet and asked him to let me know if he had any questions. He did not indicate that there were any issues or concerns. On the day of drop-off, we were driving about four hours to get to him before leaving for an international trip. I texted Shaun multiple times throughout the drive, including about five hours and three hours before our scheduled 3pm. drop-off, to let him know we were on the way. I received no response at all. As the drop-off time approached, I became increasingly concerned because we had a flight to catch and had no idea whether he would actually be there to receive our dog. I ultimately had to contact Rover for assistance. They were unable to reach Shaun either and offered to refund the booking. Thankfully, we were able to find another sitter at the very last minute who graciously accommodated us and ended up being a wonderful experience. Shaun finally responded at 11pm…more than eight hours after our scheduled drop-off saying, “My phone was dead, I was still here.” Given that this was a confirmed pet-care booking involving someone traveling from several hours away and needing to catch an international flight, I found the complete lack of communication and follow-up unacceptable. I understand that phones die and unexpected things happen, but when someone is trusting you with their pet and has a confirmed arrival time, there needs to be some level of reliability and a backup way to communicate. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable booking with Shaun again.

He was 100% happy when we dropped him off and just as happy (and exactly the same) when we picked him up.. tail wagging, full of energy, and clearly well cared for. Schedule
Plenty of time outside for fresh air, neighborhood walks, and R&R. My own dog is a senior Morkie so its usually very relaxed. They'll have constant company and regular bathroom breaks every 2-5 hours + 9am - breakfast 5pm - diner

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs will stay on the first floor to prevent falls and avoid carpet accidents plus helps dogs with joint issues and this is a non smoking household. I perfer small/med-small dogs under 30 lbs I want small dog owners who may worry about their pets being around larger dogs in unfamiliar homes to feel assured that there dog is safe. Daily photo updates are sent during evening wind-down. Care and communication are subject to health, safety, and standard daily life.

A typical day
Walks and play (fetch ect). I treat every dog like I treat my own who, by the way, loves sleeping on blankets more than the fancy beds I bought him.
