Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. We maintain a consistent, calm environment, which allows me to give pets my full attention throughout the day. I enjoy early morning walks, midday playtime, and quiet evenings — routines that fit perfectly with caring for dogs and cats. I'm detail-oriented, so I keep feeding schedules, medications, and care instructions on track. Whether it’s a snuggle on the couch or a game of fetch in the yard, pets become part of my day — and my heart.

Safety, trust & environment
When pets stay in my home, they become part of my daily routine. I provide a quiet, safe environment with plenty of affection, fresh water, and clean, comfortable spaces to relax. I follow each pet’s feeding and medication schedule precisely and tailor walks and playtime to their energy level. I keep a close eye on their behavior, appetite, and mood throughout the day. Whether it's a senior dog who needs a slow stroll or a curious cat who enjoys window watching, I make sure they feel secure, stimulated, and loved — just like they would at home. During drop-in visits, I make sure your pets feel seen, cared for, and comfortable — even in a short time. I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, and a bit of love and playtime. I’m attentive to any changes in behavior and always send a check-in update with a photo so you know everything is going smoothly while you're away.

Information Sharon S. would like to know about your pet
We request instructions to come with the dog which include allergies, fears, medicines, vet phone numbers and general background. This helps us to make sure your pet is protected and safe during their stay.
A typical day
We get up in the morning and have breakfast. After breakfast we take a 1/2 hour walk around the property. Then come home and relax. We can sit our on the deck, play with some toys, play with the tennis ball, or just keep each other company while work is being done. We may even put music on and dance. In the evening we have another walk, wipe down our fur, eat dinner and finish with a brushing. Then it is couch cuddle time. This is a good time for lots of petting and snuggling (if wanted).

Your Pet's Home Away From Home
Pet care experience
I provide a calm, clean, and cozy environment in Clayton where your pet will be treated like part of the family. I only board a limited number of dogs at a time to ensure everyone gets personalized attention, affection, and supervision. Whether your pup or senior loves long naps, playtime, or belly rubs, I tailor care to their personality and routine. I’m also home most of the day, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. You’ll receive daily photo updates and messages while you're away.

Reviews

Dogs came back happy and we loved seeing the picture updates of their time! One of our dogs was pretty skittish and nervous at the meet and greet, so Sharon invited us back a couple of times to see if he relaxed a bit seeing the house a couple more times (which helped immensely).

Sharon is great with Willow.

Sharon was wonderful with Willow. She treated her like she was her own. You can tell Sharon has loved dogs all her life. I would recommend Sharon to make your pet’s “home away from home” very enjoyable.

Sharon and Julius did a wonderful job of taking care of our cat Mabel for four days and nights. We highly recommend their boarding services. -Mark and Nathalie
