Friendly and Caring Animal Lover
It has been a while, but I am back to pet sitting. I used to board and pet sit on Rover for years and left for a while for other jobs, but hoping to start it up again. Ever since I was young I have had pets. From dogs, to cats, to lizards, I have had them all. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages. I have dealt with dogs and cats with anxiety, medical issues, as well as puppies and those that have issues that come with age. I also regularly volunteer at the local animal shelter and have had trainings there on how to deal with dogs from all walks of life. I am happy to play with animals, provide general care, help them get some exercise, or to just hang out with them to provide company. Animals have always brought me joy and I would love the opportunity to hang out with your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
If boarding, I have a fenced in yard and live in a residential area. There several small parks around that I could walk your dog in as well. I do have a dog at home that is friendly with other dogs, but can also easily separate her from other boarded animals as well if that is preferred.

Sharon was fantastic with our anxiety-ridden pit bull mix, Cookie. She snuggled with Cookie whenever she needed some extra TLC and made sure she got both a morning and an afternoon walk. From the moment we met Sharon, it was clear she has a natural bond with animals that is hard to define. She is easygoing, calm, and, most importantly, updates you daily with a brief summary and pictures of your pet. I would love to have her dog sit again and will definitely recommend her services to friends in the future!
We have a very high needs dog with anxiety issues and Sharon not only was able to take the best care of him while we were gone but even became best friends with our pup. She clearly cares about animals and shows it. We would highly recommend her and would love to have her come watch our dog again!

During our trip away for a weekend, Sharon stayed at our home so that she could take care of our dog, Rufus. We are really grateful to her for all she did to keep Rufus healthy and happy. Rufus is sometimes a little anxious, but Sharon was great with him. We received pictures of Rufus throughout the weekend, and we felt confident that Rufus was in good hands. Sharon is the perfect sitter. Our 9-year-old, 50-lb. dog Scooby is fearful and anxious around people he doesn't know. We were hesitant to go on a ten day trip and leave him with a stranger. But Sharon took great care of him and our house. She has excellent skills and instincts and patiently gave Scooby the space he needed to gain trust. She sent daily reports of the progress of their friendship and photos in which we could see how comfortable they were together. If you are looking for someone reliable and thoughtful, you'll be very glad you booked Sharon.

Schedule
I work partially from home and can be flexible on those days (Friday through Tuesday), but I am expecting to be furloughed soon which which free up my time more every day of the week.
