My home and the area I live in is safe and quiet. If you'd like me to crate your pet when I go out for my errands, I ask if you would please provide your crate.
Information Sharon R. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, interests, ie, favorite toys and activities, if enjoys being brushed - any information you feel that would be helpful in order to provide your furry family member with the most pleasurable experiences while you're away.
A typical day
When caring for your pup, we start our day with a potty break. Soon after, we take our 30 - 45 minute walk, depending on the amount of exercise your pet is accustomed to. Each day, we'll vary our walks from country roads, to Ralph Stover Park and the Delaware canal, if you're agreeable with that. After our walk, we'll practice commands and tricks - to keep their brain active, play catch with a ball or toy (if they enjoy that), other interactive play activities, and include lots of praise, petting and gentle massage. Throughout our day, we'll take potty breaks every few hours and have cuddle and play time.

Pet care experience
I've taken care of animals since I was a child. I come from a large family (I'm one of 7 children) and we had the good fortune of caring for several dogs and cats growing up. I adore animals. They give so much and I thoroughly enjoy creating a safe, peaceful, fun experience - for them and myself! I live in a carriage house apartment on a very quiet street called Blueberry Lane, in a beautiful rural area of Pipersville, Pennsylvania. I'm a 5 minute drive to Ralph Stover Park and the Delaware River. I love to walk my dog friends on my street, through the park and along the canal. I live alone and do not have pets of my own. I host one furry family member at a time, and they will get my full attention. Because of the size of my home, I'm unable to host large dogs. But I'm very happy to stay with and care for larger dogs in your home.

Reviews

Sharon stayed with our Cavapoo, Harper, for the first time during Thanksgiving week. We communicated several times prior to her stay, which was very helpful. Sharon and Harper had the opportunity to meet prior to the stay, as well. Sharon provided an update every day that we were away, and she was also very respectful of our home. Harper seemed very happy when we returned, so we know she was well cared for. We would definitely ask Sharon to stay with Harper again!

Sharon was amazing and so kind your dogs. She sent us updates while we were away and photos. Sharon was so respectful to our home and we loved her!
I have entrusted my beloved dog to Sharon’s care for several years, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Sharon provides exceptional care, is highly professional, and has a genuine love for animals. She regularly sends updates and meticulously follows my dog’s routines and dietary needs. She takes the time to play, takes her on long walks, and keeps her brushed and clean. If you’re looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitter, look no further. Sharon is truly the best, and I wholeheartedly recommend her services to any pet owner in need.
