I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Some of our favorite family memories are walking our dog, Duke, on the trails with the kids. For several years, we also worked closely with a neighbor who trained dogs. Whenever she traveled, we cared for the dogs she had in training, giving them consistent structure, attention, and lots of affection. After recently losing Duke to cancer, I’ve decided to share the love I have for him with other dogs rather than trying to replace him. I understand how much pets mean to their families, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. I also regularly care for my daughter’s cat (and kitten!), and they’re always a little spoiled when they head home. I truly love animals and enjoy providing them with a safe, loving, and attentive environment.
