Safety, trust & environment
I have a cage free environment, dogs stays indoor and have a closed backyard for potty breaks. Walks around the neighborhood are provided and when needed dogs can stroll in a carriage for extra long walks. My parakeets are separated from dogs since they love to fly but freely go in their cage when they rest. Our cat socializes with our guests, only if she feels safe. Every dog I walk are leashed for their safety. If we go to the dog run, they get their time to be off the leash. I let them have their fun and at the same time I am cautious and aware of their surroundings. Some parks nearby are also great for them to sniff and play. If they do well they get on an extended leash for some run time in the grass or the turf. When weather is fluctuating, protecting their backs with sweaters, rain coats or jackets is ideal for some dogs. We will stay outside so long as the dog is comfortable. During rain days, I am still walking pups and give them enough time to release themselves. We come back to play a little more if the walk is shorter. If the dog allows, I will almost always wipe their paws dry. Please have any size towel available for your pup or even wipes for their paws. Every walk and visit depends how the pup feels and what makes mom, pop and pup happy. Hydrating is also important and it would be great if they have a water bottle. If not, bowls will be refreshed. Dog visits are mostly catered to the dogs needs. Making a meal, cleaning pads, a quick walk or even playing with them indoors are some of preferred requests for some dogs. Should you need to go away for work or vacation and need someone to stay with your dog, I offer dog sitting at my home. I will follow your feeding schedule and offer your pup as many walks as they need especially for those energetic dogs.

Information Sharon N. would like to know about your pet
If your dog has special needs, no problem, just let me know how I can help. What are their favorite toys and treats? Should bikes, scooters or squirrels make them jump, just let me know their like or dislikes. How do they behave with people or other dogs? What is their energy like during walks? Do they have good recall? I love to practice their tricks and learn new ones, do they do tricks? Any food sensitivities? Do they get scared of anything? Any current injuries? Any health issues and medications being taken? Are they fully vaccinated and can they be around other dogs? Are they potty trained indoors, outdoors or combo? Do they pick up food during walks? Do they require special feeding bowls ex: slow feeder, drinking spout, water fountain, slow water bowl, ceramic? Is filtered water ok?
A typical day
Depending on the need of the dog I will go to a nearby park or take walks around the neighborhood. Each dog is special so I will make sure to follow your protocols along with making them comfortable and having a good time.

Dogs have a special place in my ❤️
Pet care experience
I'm a devoted animal lover who joined the Rover community in April 2022 to do what I love most: caring for dogs. My experience comes from raising my two beloved pups, Rocky and Tia Sophia, both seniors with special needs who taught me how to provide loving, attentive care. From daily walks and fresh meals to administering insulin and vet visits, their journeys shaped my passion for helping animals feel safe, loved, and happy. Over the years, I've welcomed many furry and feathered friends into my life, including parakeets and, most recently, a resilient tabby cat named Kiggy. While I can’t offer services for cats due to allergies, I continue to care for local cats in need. Though I’m no longer a Dog Mom, the paw prints Rocky and Tia Sophia left behind continue to guide me. I’m here to give your pup the same love, patience, and joyful care they gave me every day.
Reviews

Sharon is dependable, trustworthy, and she loves our dog. 6 stars!

I highly recommend Sharon. She is reliable, punctual and my dog is always so excited to see her. Every walk includes a detailed account and many pictures. She loves animals and I always have piece of mind knowing my dog is safe and well cared for.

We are so thankful to have found Sharon and have relied on her to both walk and care for our senior dog, Ona, for nearly a year now. Sharon is not only patient, but caring for Ona and we always know that she’s in the best hands with Sharon!

Sharon has been walking Ona for over 9-mos. now. Sharon is patient with Ona, a senior, and we always know that Ona is in good care with Sharon. Ona looks forward to her walks with Sharon, waiting for Sharon at the the door.
