Most importantly, I'm interested in your fur-babies daily routine. I want to keep your fur-baby(ies) routine as normal as possible in your absence. But, we should really discuss any areas of stress for your fur-baby. For example, maybe you have two pets but they need to be fed separately or maybe you have a pet that likes company during every meal (so, I should plan on sitting down while they eat); or, maybe you have an older pet that needs daily low impact exercise to keep those arthritic joints well lubricant; or, maybe your fur-baby has a special diet. What's important is we discuss any special needs and activities before your departure.
A typical day
While your gone, I'm happy to stay in your home with your fur-babies. I personally work from home and can give your fur-babies the extended attention they deserve in your absence. You'll enjoy the peace-of-mind that comes from knowing your fur-baby(ies) will have the presence of human companionship, while being surrounded by the comforts of their own home. Your fur-babies are most important to me so giving them the very best in loving care from daily walks, play-time, and mental stimuli from whatever activities are your fur-baby(ies) favorite past-time(s). Whether it be for one night or 30-days, your fur-baby(ies) will have the presence of human companionship while ALSO giving you the peace-of-mind knowing your home appears occupied 24/7.

I recently moved from Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Webb City, Missouri. As difficult as it was to leave my Colorado clients and their fur-babies, I’m super excited to offer the same great services to the Joplin and Webb City community. I specialize in pet-sitting fur-babies of all sizes, from Chihuahuas weighing under 5 pounds (2.25 kg) to Newfoundlands weighing as much as 175 lb (79 kg). I've cared for fur-baby households with diverse groups of fur-babies ranging from dogs, cats, horses, lamas, and donkeys. If you have a small ranch, I'm happy to talk with you about extended services too. My experience includes carrying for expecting fur mama's (pregnant dogs) that may have unique and special dietary requirements. If you're a pet-parent with AKA registered show dog(s) and you're looking for someone with highly specialized skills in caring for you pride-and-joy, let's talk. I work with owners of show dogs and responsible dog breeders (NO puppy-mills, please). Prices may vary dependent on pet-parent requirements for those fur-babies that have special needs or pet-parents with small ranches (no more than six horses per farm/ranch). Sharon was the first person we’ve used through Rover, and we felt so thankful that we had someone like her watching over our little doggo. He tends be a little anxious and nervous around new people, but Sharon was very calm and patient with him. She sent us lots of photos and videos while we were gone so we knew that he was doing okay!
This is the second time we have asked Sharon to watch Finn. He was diagnosed with a serious illness a couple of months ago and Sharon handled all of his medicines like a pro. Though it was nerve wracking to leave him at all, we felt better knowing Sharon was watching out for him. We are sad to see her leave our state.
This was the first time we left our 17-month-old Finn for a 5-day trip out of town. We met with Sharon enough times before her stay that we all felt comfortable with the arrangements, even Finn. Sharon sent plenty of pictures and videos so we knew Finn was doing well. He never lacked for attention or love. She also was very flexible in arriving shortly after we left for the airport and staying until we felt comfortable that Finn would be fine until we made it home on our day of return. The house is spic and span, and she has good policies for being safe during the pandemic. We will certainly use her services again!
This was our second time booking Sharon and once again she was awesome. We had to come home a day early due to illness, and Sharon was totally flexible with the sudden change. When we got home the house was in great shape and our dog was very happy. Our dog loves her and we will book her again!
