Dogs are people too!
Over the past 35 years dogs have always been important members of our family. I have breed Golden Retrievers as well as Miniature Schnauzers in my home. I have raised Weimaraner's Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers and Miniature Schnauzers. I currently own a loving mixed breed rescue. I have experience with dogs of all ages puppies to seniors, I have been caring for family and neighbors dogs including Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Labs and German Shorthaired Pointers for many years and would love to welcome your special pup into my home. I am a retired RN and stay home full time. I have lots of free time to spoil your special ones. I am comfortable administering medications as I have owned senior dogs and have experience managing their needs.

Sharon and her husband Mike were the absolute best!! This was my first time leaving my puppy, Lucy, with someone, and they made it so much easier for us both! Sharon was very communicative and sent pictures and updates all weekend. Lucy and their dog Heidi had the best time playing together. They went above and beyond for Lucy, I could not recommend anyone more!!
Sharon (and her husband Mike) were absolutely wonderful with our cockapoo, Millie, and are an incredibly nice couple who truly enjoy dogs. Millie stayed with them for 5 days/4 nights so that we could visit relatives in MA. They bonded with her immediately at our Meet and Greet and nothing was too much for them during her stay; they made sure she got lots of tummy rubs and couch time combined with frequent games of fetching balls in their great backyard, sending frequent photos. Millie and their Heidi ended up being happy companions - after an early spat when Millie thought her dogfood was in danger - but Shannon and Mike quickly got that sorted out. They are very careful about dog safety which I really appreciate. Millie will definitely be returning!
Sharon's home is Emma's second home. We travel with confidence when we know Emma is with Sharon. Our greatest fear is that she will not want to come home with us!
Sharon is a Gem!! She went well out of her way to take care of my senior diabetic dog and can’t thank her enough!!! This was the first time I left my dog with a sitter after being diagnosed diabetic and I didn’t worry at all because I knew he was in good hands. Sharon genuinely cares about your pup and she is one of the nicest people I have met. Sharon thank you so much for taking great care of Rudy so I could enjoy my son’s wedding weekend !!

Schedule
I am a retired nurse and at home most of the time. I can offer frequent potty breaks as well as walks, playing ball, and rest time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fence yard. I stay outside with my client's dogs. I never leave them in the yard alone. I have a gate that prevents my dogs and my client's dogs from approaching the front door if a guest arrives.
Pets
A typical day
Dogs in my care will enjoy walks, lots of petting and constant companionship so you can enjoy your time away worry free. I will also offer shallow pool activities for those who enjoy the water. I will be happy to text pictures to your phone during your pets stay.
