I’m retired so my routine is flexible and can be modified to the needs of each dog I care for. My husband also works from home quite often so extra care is provided if needed.

I have no children or pets in my home so each pet will be treated and cared for with the utmost care and love as appropriate. I have a fenced in backyard and safe neighborhood with sidewalks for leash walking. I also have access to a secluded field with trails in our neighborhood for more active dogs. I love to walk so exercise is not a challenge or concern for your dog. I also have an open floor plan living area where on occasion I play with my grand dog if going outside is not possible. So safety and enjoyment are both a priority.

Let me know if there’s a specific activity your dog likes or certain commands you use to communicate with your dog. I will do my best to fill your shoes as their owner. I also like to know if there are things you prefer to not have me do, such as getting on furniture or no snacks.

I love to show affection to your dog if they are that type. I can walk, play fetch, or chase with ball if they’re interested in running activities. My previous dog was a mini dachshund and loved to play soccer and my grand dog is a frisbee lover so I can cover a variety of activities. He also loves the constant attention of a paw massage so I am a nurturer and a fitness fan when it comes to pets.

I’ve been an animal lover all my life, especially dogs. I grew up with dogs and have owned 2 during my 33 years of marriage and 2 now grown children. We raised a golden retriever from puppy to 13 years of age and a miniature dachshund who was with us for 15 years. I also love keeping our granddog Prince who is a 6 year old Australian Shepherd. I miss having a dog of our own, but as we are empty nesters, we find ourselves traveling often. So as you can see I need a dog fix every so often and I promise your dog would be treated with much love and affection. I am a firm believer that they are an important part of the family. If a dog can smile, you can bet that yours will be coming and going with one on it’s face.

My dog was nervous at first staying with a new person but warmed up quickly and had a great stay. Sharon was great with communicating and sending pics/videos. I will definitely try to book with her again!
My pup had another great stay with Sharon and her family! I enjoyed the photos and updates!
Sharon made our first experience with Rover a WONDERFUL one. We felt so good with our puppy there and know she was so happy during her stay. I think she was sad to come home! We hope Sharon is available again when we go on our next trip! ❤️
