I like to have a day or two notice, but you are always welcome to ask if it’s a last minute situation, and if I’m available, I’m happy to help. I can usually do one or two drop ins on the weekdays and more on the weekends. I can generally manage overnights on the weekends and holidays.

How are they motivated? Food, attention, etc. Are they well behaved on walks? or reactive? Please let me know if there is a specific route for walks or routines in general that I should follow. Any general rules or energy I should carry around your pets is helpful.. Food and treat guidelines are a must. Be specific!
A typical day
I am happy to engage in any time of play they are used to. I am also patient and will be able to watch and let them have explore time on their own in the yard or the house if they like to do that as well. Cuddles are also fun!

Pet care experience
I have been care taking pets most of my life. My first cat of my own was named Feather, and I was around 9 at that time. I love animals, and I also believe in firm boundaries with positive reinforcement. I have raised puppies and kittens, administered medications, fed special diets, and am skilled at firm and positive training instructions. I love animals of all ages and am happy to follow specific directions and needs, even when they seem like a lot. I am also a single mom of two teenage kids with two dogs of our own. Of course running a household and keeping everyone fed and happy requires that I’m a responsible and patient adult. Those skills are great for being of service to others!

Sharon was very punctual and a clear communicator. I came home and everything was clean and my pets were very relaxed! She did great with my dog, who has a very complex eye routine at the moment.
I can’t say enough great things about Sharon! She took such amazing care of my dog, and I could tell right away that she was patient and kind, which helped build trust. My dog isn’t always quick to warm up to new people, but Sharon made her feel so comfortable and safe. Not only did she take her on fun adventures, but she also provided regular updates with photos and notes about their activities, which put me completely at ease while I was away. It was clear my dog was happy, well-exercised, and loved during their time together. On top of that, Sharon took excellent care of my home—it was spotless when I returned, and everything was exactly as I left it!
Sharon was absolutely great. Good communication, great with the dogs and very conscientious.
Sharon agreed to watch my dog Cooper on a last minute request when our travel plans changed. She was communicative and followed all instructions perfectly. I would use her again!
