I am a dog and cat mom myself, of 6 cats and 2 dogs. One of my dogs is a 10 year old black lab who is diabetic, so I have had experience administering insulin and monitoring his condition. Both of my dogs have been fully trained and well behaved, although there was a lot of time spent (both are rescues) working through separation anxiety, leash aggression, socialization, and learning how to properly handle and control both dogs on walks and in social situations. The six cats I own range in ages from 3 to 11 and are all rescues as well. They are all very spoiled and well taken care of. I have always had a huge love for animals, particularly cats and have owned multiple pets since I was a child.
