A home from home for your dog 🐶❤️
I have been around dogs since childhood and have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. In recent years, I have regularly looked after dogs for friends, family, and owners requiring both short-term and holiday care. I have experience caring for a wide range of breeds, including Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers, Cockapoos, Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, and Golden Retrievers. This has given me a good understanding of the different exercise, training, and care needs of both small and large breeds. Our family home provides a safe, comfortable environment for dogs to relax and enjoy their stay. We live in a spacious house with plenty of room indoors, a large garden, and a secure, fully enclosed patio area at the rear of the property for safe outdoor time. Our 12-year-old son is very sensible, gentle, and caring around dogs, having grown up with them and being accustomed to treating them with kindness and respect. Any dog staying with us will receive lots of attention, affection, exercise, and care, helping them feel settled and at home while you're away.

Sharleen and her partner were excellent care givers to our wee Kora. Sharleen provided 10/10 care, love, and kindness to her and made her feel like it was her home away from home. Sharleen provided daily updates and plenty of photos to us so that we knew what our pup was up to each day. Kora came home happy, healthy, and feeling spoilt! Will definitely be back!

Schedule
Your pet will enjoy plenty of company and attention with our flexible home-working schedule. I work from home two days a week. I am also available for evening, weekend, and holiday bookings (subject to availability). I always aim to provide a safe, comfortable, and caring environment while you're away.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a large, secure garden and a fully enclosed patio area where dogs can safely play, relax, and enjoy outdoor time. The entire property is fenced and private, providing a safe environment away from busy roads and public access. For added security, the home is protected by electric gates and CCTV cameras. If your dog is crate-trained or you would prefer them to be crated for rest periods or overnight, I am happy to accommodate this according to your wishes and routine. I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to provide a safe, secure, and loving home-from-home experience.
A typical day
We love close to many beautiful walks, the greenway, parks and are a 10 minute drive to Helen’s Bay. I love to walk and enjoy getting outdoors. Your dog will have plenty of stimulation whilst staying in a home from home environment.
