100% Dog Lover with lots of room!!
5 Acres fully fenced in right between Edmonton & Spruce Grove! *Ongoing daycare spots are currently fully booked* I'm currently doing full days of daycare on Tuesdays & Thursdays. This means there will be several other dogs here & we spend the day playing! I may be available other days but there won't necessarily be a full group here with your dog. I will board more than 1 dog at a time, so there will be other dogs to play with. I never take on anything more than I can handle, I do meet & greets beforehand to make sure all dogs are a good fit, and I always make sure everyone gets plenty of individual love & care! I am so fortunate to now devote my days caring for these pups; both my own and yours! I provide personalized feeding times and medical administration, and I also ensure plenty of human and dog interaction, socialization and exercise! Dogs have always been a part of my life. I was a part time groomer when I was 14-18, dog sat for family and friends as a kid and that has carried on into adulthood! I watch my friends pets, and have 2 of my own- including one senior who needs special care that I'm happy to give. I've done obedience training with my own dogs, as well as conformation training when I decided to show one of my Giant Schnauzers!

Sharla is awesome! This was our first time using Rover and Sharla. She was referred to us by a friend. The entire experience was easy and our dog Nova had the best time!! Sharla sent daily pictures and messages keeping us updated about Nova and what she was up to. We feel so good about leaving Nova with Sharla. She was in great hands during her stay there. We left our dog with Sharla while we went on an extended holiday, and she was absolutely incredible. She treated him like he was her own. We loved getting daily photo updates, which always showed him happy and completely at home. He had so much fun playing with other dogs and got so much exercise. I truthfully think he was a little sad to come back home with us. If you’re looking for someone who goes above and beyond, I highly recommend.

Sharla is the best dog babysitter in the greater Edmonton area. Certainly the best in Stony Plain county. Hands down. My girl Django had the best time for four days! She made many friends that were also under Sharla's care, she slept well, ate like a queen, and now she is safely home happy, well-exercised, and content now that she is home cuddling with her mom! This is the third or fourth time I've trusted my baby with Sharla, and every. single. time. she's been treated like the little princess she believes herself to be! Thank you, Sharla, for enriching my fur-baby's life, making your home feel like her home, and taking care of my baby girl just as well as I do!
Sharla is an outstanding sitter, and the setting could not be better for dogs! Oscar had the time of his life staying with Sharla and her dog Bruder, and the other dogs she was boarding at the time. Then, on Tuesday and Thursday, he got to hang out with all the doggie daycare dogs as well. He made so many new friends and was exhausted when I picked him up on day 5, which is saying a lot, because Oscar is non-stop energy. The dogs get to walk with Sharla on her 5 acre fenced in property every day until they are all played out. Doggie heaven. The dogs look up to Sharla, and she is an amazing guide and caretaker of them. She texted with so many photos and news of Oscar every day, and I was able to be at ease the whole time I was away, knowing that Oscar was in the very best hands. Thank you Sharla! Oscar can't wait to come back :)
Sharla was really really great with my Jimmy & Pennie Lou. They were comfortable and well looked after!

Even when I'm not running doggy daycare, I walk the dogs around the property often and throughout the day. Big and small dogs welcome, I've watched Yorkies to Labs to Great Danes; they all fit in here.

I have 5 acres of fenced property where I take my own dogs out for walks several times a day. The dogs are able to roam free in the house during the day and night, or I'm happy to kennel them at your request; kennels are also kept inside the house. I can leash walk dogs on a long lead until they are comfortable outside, or they can run off leash and enjoy the property & run through the trees! I have lots of room to play fetch and run off that energy! I bring out a doggy pool in the summer to keep them cool, and who doesn't love a pool party!? I typically stay in our fenced 5 acre yard for walking and play time. My house is open concept so we'll always be in the same room except for sleeping.
