Sharika has recently finished a fellowship with the National Park Service and has lots of free time during the day and night any day of the week to care for your pet. She is based in Anchorage and willing to stay overnight anywhere around town.

Sharika has no breed preferences, she loves all dogs! She would like to know anything about your dog that you would like to disclose. She is particularly interested in your pet's unique personality traits. Are they particularly shy around new people, or are they very energetic? Is there anything that frightens them, or anything that particularly excites them? Is your dog a puppy, or currently in training? No matter what the answers to these questions are, Sharika would love to spend time with your animals!
A typical day
Sharika loves to go on jogs with dogs, so your dog will get to be more active if you choose her as your walker. She also loves to cuddle with animals so your dog or cat will get lots of love.

Sharika has been a Rover and Wag walker for 5 years. She has been taking care of dogs and cats her whole life and has been trusted by countless friends and family to look after their pets. She has always found it to be an incredibly enriching experience to be trusted with the care of someone else's pet. She is so grateful for any opportunity to spend quality time with animals!

I was surprised how quickly my dog bonded with Sharika! I have a very high energy, well behaved (for a puppy) dog that loves to play and scared of everything new. Sharika has come several times to walk her during the day while I have been when I have been extra busy at work. The last time Sharika left, my dog sat staring at the door dejectedly for about 10 minutes and very unhappy she didn’t get more playtime. Then she promptly went and took a 3 hour nap! I work with my dog mostly off leash and she listens to me as owner/alpha. I gave Sharika the instructions and options regarding leash or not. Sharika has used both options. I do understand the concerns of a dog of leash and that not everyone is comfortable with that. However, it was really nice to have a dog walker comfortable enough with dogs overall to be able to at least give it a try! I’ve been very happy working with Sharika and recommend her if you need someone to love and give your dog some exercise or tension. She is very personable, communicative, especially with schedule changes, and very easy to work with! I will definitely book again.
Sharika was amazing with Yuna. She is super kind, friendly and sweet. It didn’t take long for Yuna to warm up to her and want all her attention for the night. Before meeting Yuna Sharika asked several questions about Yuna to make sure she knew everything she needed to know about her. This really reassured me and made me feel very comfortable leaving her with Sharika. She kept open communication with me the whole night so I didn’t ever feel worried about Yuna. I will definitely be rebooking Sharika in the future P.s. Sharika even walked Yuna in the morning while she waited for me to come back and I didn’t even ask her too. She is a lovely girl and I highly recommend her ❤️❤️
