Shari Harer: Haus for Pets
We accept all types of animals from reptiles to rabbits and from birds to canines. Lots of love and individual attention provided. Pets have been a large part of my life and I continue to enjoy the company of all types of animal friends.I grew up on a farm and worked through high school in a veterinarian office. We have a large ranch style home (only 3 stairs which can be avoided) with a fenced yard. We do not use kenneling/crating unless requested. Animals are free to roam and establish routines are followed for your pet. We have other animals (dog, rabbit, cat and tortoise) whose environment can be modified depending on your dog's needs. Guest animals always remain in the general living space of the home. Our rescue/rehab animals have limited access to the general living space. We are happy to let you know which animals are on the property at any given time so you can determine if we will meet your needs. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us! Shari and her family are great with my two pups. One is 4 yrs old, the other 4 months and they just love going to the sitter. I would recommend in a heart beat!
Shari was great. We felt very comfortable with leaving Devin there and he came home happy and healthy. I'd recommend them and happily use them again.

I was so nervous to leave my 13 year old lab, he has never been left with anyone and gets very anxious if he can't see me. I was worried he would cry all night, but shari put me at ease by reassuring me he would be great. She sent me regular texts and pictures of him. She accommodated rugs and bedding just for him and his bad hip. He decided where he wanted to sleep and shari would move his bed to that area. I am already planning another get a way in January. I will be more relaxed this time.
Shari was absolutely fantastic! Our dog (german Shepherd) is a new adoptee and rescue and he did so great. Shari sent pictures and I knew I was in good hands with Shari! I would not hesitate having her watch our sweet boy again. He came back much better behaved too! :)
Our dog Sam enjoyed his stay with Shari, he came home calm and well cared for. We will for sure use this service again, so enjoyed Shari! was very easy to sign up for and met our expectations.
