My preference is for small to medium-sized dogs. 🐕 also request that each dog have a secure collar with ID tags with up-to-date information. I have a lot of experience with boarding dogs as well as doggy daycare and housesitting. I like to know their daily routines, both active times of day and resting or nap times as well as meal times and times for snacks, if any!
A typical day
Lots of walks, playing both inside and outside, four dog beds, a sofa and a human bed for nap times, and lots of snuggle time.

I’ve lived with dogs for decades. I’ve worked with several professional dog care businesses for years in Chicago and Wisconsin. I had my own business for several years in Michigan. I am retired and can give your dog absolutely all of my attention!

Shari took excellent care of our two senior doodles during a recent trip overseas. We so appreciated all the photos and the great communication. We knew our girls were in excellent, caring hands, which helped make our trip more enjoyable and worry-free.
We had a good experience. Shari provided 2 weeks of care for our dog, Ruby. Ruby is a rescue dog and can be nervous in new settings. Shari was so understanding and patient with Ruby (and me!) and her updates were so kind. I hope to book with Shari in the future.

From our first meet and greet to the last day pick up, Shari was extremely communicative and flexible. My dog was with Shari for 5 days and I very much appreciated the many pictures and updates she sent; it was obvious that Rudy was living the good life and getting plenty of lap time!
