Safety, trust & environment

I live in a residential neighborhood with not a lot of foot traffic or people walking their dogs, so interactions with other dogs are slim to none during walks. I have a fenced in backyard that I allow the dogs to roam around freely, always supervised. Once we leave my home on walks and at any parks, the dog will always remain leashed.

Information Sharett B. would like to know about your pet

If your pet has special needs, aggressive or resource guards, frequently barks, still has accidents inside, needs extra TLC, is not good around new people/environments, I would like to know in your introductory message.

A typical day

I have many parks in my neighborhood, so we'll take walks (long or short depending on your pupper's preference), we'll play with toys, eat treats, and take naps. Water, food, and toys will be left out throughout the day unless you state otherwise.

Pet care experience

Hi!! PLEASE READ FIRST I do meet and greets on ALL new dogs before accepting any service. There are no exceptions to this— this is so your dog(s) are familiar with me before you drop them off, you meet me, and I get a rundown on their routine and temperament. Please reach out at least 2 days prior to your booking so we can arrange a meet and greet. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you! 😊 I have been loving dogs for over 20 + years, but caring for them for the past 7 years. I am an avid volunteer with the LA SPCA in Algiers, and love each dog as if it were my own. My main responsibilities include cleaning each dog's housing unit, walking each dog and ensuring they take a bathroom break, monitoring the health and behavioral patterns of each pupper and reporting that information to the vet and potential new homes the animal may be adopted to. I can provide references upon request from various pet parents that I have dog sat for. You can rest assured your pet (family member) will be treated well, have a day full of fun, including walks, runs, and treats. I am very responsible, trustworthy, and will comply with all house rules as well as personal guidelines for each animal.

Sharett gave consistent and frequent updates on my dog while I was away, which I really appreciated! Flexible drop off and pick up times was also helpful.

Sharett is an AMAZING sitter! She babysat our fur baby Tenley for almost one month (and during the holiday season at that) and the care she provided was nothing short of stellar. We were overseas and having anxiety about leaving Tenley with just anyone and wanted Sharett specifically given her experience, love for dogs, and that she has also sat for Tenley before (he loves her and her home). She really did treat Tenley as if he were her own, gave us constant updates, dealt graciously with his sensitive stomach and specific food diet, and had an incredible amount of patience with him. We really appreciate everything she did for our fur baby and put our minds at ease. Our family will definitely be using Sharett again, we highly recommend her to any fur parents who are seeking an experienced, loving, and trustworthy sitter!

Sharett is incredible with my 2.5-year-old Husky-German Shepherd baby! Their genuine love for dogs and attention to detail made me feel at ease, and Tenley looked so happy when we picked him up from daycare, he almost didn’t want to leave. She pays a lot of attention to details such as dietary, water, and exercise needs perfectly and kept the experience stress-free. I highly recommend Sharett and will certainly book with her again!

Sharett is amazing, she watched my 12 year old dog for a few days and made sure he was well taken care of. She was proactive in communicating with me on his day and status and that was comforting to know he was in good care. I would definitely trust Sharett again to care for my fur baby and highly recommend her to any dog parent looking for a great sitter.
