I started getting educated on animals at a young age and knew my dream was to work with animals. I started my professional career in the industry in 2017. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for a year, then moved on to a facility for dogs and cats, which I worked at from 2018-2022. Over the years at these facilities, I’ve learned about proper care, training and grooming techniques for dogs, and care for cats. I have plenty of experience working with different breeds of dogs from the smallest teacup poodle, to the chunkiest bulldog, to the biggest Great Dane. I’ve worked with many different breeds, sizes and personalities in large daycare groups, so I’ve learned how to manage different demeanors in different settings. With cats, I understand their boundaries and don’t like to force any interaction on them, but if they are comfortable with it I give them lots of love. I’ve also volunteered at a shelter for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. At the shelter, I focused on learning how to properly care for rodents and cats. *I don’t discriminate against any pet’s breed, size, age, medical condition, etc. I treat them all with the best care.* **I am able to dispense oral medication to pets if necessary. I AM NOT CERTIFIED TO GIVE INJECTION (NEEDLE INVOLVED) MEDICATION**

Shardae was absolutely wonderful with Tabasco. This was a very last-minute booking, and she kindly made time for a meet and greet the evening before, which gave us great peace of mind before leaving. We arrived back late from the East Coast, and she was incredibly accommodating in dropping Tabasco home the following morning, which was such a thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. Most importantly, Tabasco came home happy, relaxed and clearly well cared for. It was obvious he had enjoyed his time with Shardae, and we felt completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands while we were away. Thank you again for your flexibility, kindness and excellent care. We would happily book with Shardae again and highly recommend her to other pet parents.
Amazing experience. I myself am brand new to letting someone new watch our dog. Shardae is incredible attentive to each of the animals in her care. She notes all details to provide thoughtful and thorough updates about your pet. I loved the pictures that she sent of my pup so happy. I would strongly recommend.

Shar was amazing per usually despite my Prada misbehaved on a day. Shar was patient with Prada and explained to me what Prada can benefit from when she starts dog training, to make her overall a more polite dog around other dogs. I will definitely book with Shar and recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter, as I trust her with my Prada care while I’m away. Thank you Shar!!!
Shardae took such great care of our Daisy 🌼 girl. It was our first time using Rover app and she made the process very easy. Loved how she kept me up to date everyday and sent pics. Will definitely recommend!! Thanks so much Shardae!

I work part time in Gardena in the afternoon-evening Mon-Fri, but typically am home or close by during most of the day and on weekends. I tend to stay local when running errands.

Safety, trust & environment
My apartment is gated and a code or key is needed to enter the premises. We have a large grass area right out front, which is not gated. There’s plenty of grass and parks in the neighborhood to go to during walks. My apartment is on the second floor with the luxury of having the parking garage underneath me, so your pet running around the house won’t disturb anyone! I stay alert and aware of my surroundings at all times for safety purposes. I have multiple rooms and gates to separate pets when necessary (feeding, bedtime, rest breaks…etc.) My pets are flea treated regularly and stay up to date on their vaccines. **IMPORTANT NOTICE BELOW!!! In order to keep my home a healthy and clean environment for all, IF PETS ARRIVE WITH FLEAS I require a $50-$100 cleaning fee AND a flea bath may apply with a MINIMUM charge of $38/pet bathed. I HIGHLY recommend flea treatments and checking your pets for fleas BEFOREHAND to avoid additional charges. ADDITIONALLY, if your pet causes any damages to my property there will be a MINIMUM charge of $25 for repairs/replacements.**

A typical day
Pets are treated like family around here, so snuggle sessions and movie nights are included!! I’m all about the pet, so whatever your pet is up for, so am I! Your pet can expect anything from short to long walks, fetch and tug of war, and belly rubs and back scratches. OR we can just relax at the house and lounge all day. WHATEVER THEY WANT!!!
