Caring for pets started out as a hobby, but now I am a full-time pet care giver. I could have not made the transition without the support I have received from the community. Thank you.

Please note: There is an additional fee of $25 for pick-ups or drop-offs after 7:00 PM. All I can say is WOW!! The Shoal's area and North Alabama as a whole showed up and showed out!! I discovered Rover during a virtual dog training seminar in the Spring of 2023. I was a little apprehensive but decided to give it a try, and man, oh man, you guys have opened my heart in ways that I could only imagine. I am extremely grateful for the outpouring support I have received from my North Alabama pet community. My background and education have given me a strong foundation in canine behavior, health, and proper care. I have completed both my Psychology Degree and Behavior Modification Certification at the University of North Alabama, which led me to pursue basic, intermediate, and advanced dog training. I am a Certified Service Dog trainer through Animal Behavior College. I continue to study training methods and animal care practices so I can stay current and provide the best service possible. Combined with 8 years of hands-on experience, this training allows me to support dogs at every stage - from energetic puppies to senior companions - while giving their owners confidence and peace of mind.

Always an amazing experience! My Tillie couldn’t wait to get out of the car when she saw shaquita’s house again. She is so good at sending pictures and updates. I would recommend her to anyone. 💗

Hands down one of the best Rover experiences yet! Phenomenal property and so much attention, affection, and loving engagement with the dogs! Buzz and Tula have had a fantastic trip to Alabama and glad we found you to be a part of it. Thank you so much for your help!

This is my new goto place for my doggies! I got pictures videos updates everyday. I don’t like leaving my dogs for stretches of time… Ms Shaquita eased my mind and quickly replied to my check-ins. Huge outside space. I’m a big fan; we will be back

Shaquita kept our poodle Lily for 9 days and Lily required medication and more care due to her age and kidney failure. This is our second time with Shaquita and she took wonderful care of Lily and we will definitely use her again!
