Hi I’m Shaquilla and I love that dogs and cats are always there for you - as companions, as your best friend, and as a sweet partner in life. Every single pup and kitty have their own distinct personality to make life interesting and entertain you with their silly antics and unique tendencies. I love being a sitter with RoverGO because it allows me to meet and spend time with dogs and cats of all different sizes, personalities, and breeds! I have experience with all types of animals from dogs to cats to pocket pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, and gerbils to reptiles and amphibians. I have also regularly worked with rabbits, horses, and birds like owls and hawks. For the past four years, I’ve worked at a veterinary clinic so I feel comfortable around animals of every temperament, breed, and size! As a Masters student in Marine Biology attending Nova Southeastern University, I’m continuing to study to become an exotic and marine veterinarian. With that comes some pretty cool skills - administering medication, treating and bandaging wounds, and administering fluids among other things. In addition to my professional experience with animals - I am the proud owner of a dog, a bearded dragon, two crested geckos, and a fish tank. I’m also hoping to adopt a kitten soon. My Hound mix, Tigress, is four years old and the best part of my life! As I am hoping to become a veterinarian in the future, I have spent my last four years working closely with different vets to help learn, grow, and hone my skills with all types of animals. I know how hard it is to be away from our best friends and understand the anxiety owners feel when leaving their pets with another person so I will make sure both you and your pets are comfortable by being courteous, attentive, respectful, and dependable. I will also ensure that I understand every aspect of your pet’s specific care, leave your home as I found it, and be in constant and consistent communication. I love spending time not pet sitting outside in nature, enjoying a good book and taking in the scenery. You can also find me exploring museums and other historic sites as well as on nature trails with my puppy friends!

Shaquilla was fantastic. Flexible schedule, very prompt to pick up my babies. I got the best photo updates!! My babies are very high energy on walks and she handled the challenge so well. My dogs adore her and we will be using her services again. I think of my dogs like my CHILDREN and I felt so comfortable leaving them in her care ???
It was a pleasure meeting Shaquilla. The kids absolutely took to her right away. I look forward to doing future visits!
Shaquilla is awesome with my puppy. I highly recommend her. She had been walking Cash for a little more than a month now. The best part is she takes him to a dog park near the house.
My dog and I liked Shaquilla from the get-go. She is punctual, pleasant, polite, and professional. AND she laughs at my dog's silly antics! Although Shaquilla follows my instructions for handling my dog, her observations and suggestions are always welcome. Not only is she an experienced dog owner and walker/sitter, she is majoring in Animal Behavior at NCSU. Shaquilla and my dog return from their walks grinning and that sight makes me very happy!
