I am currently a student, Army ROTC cadet, and athlete at North Carolina Central University. I am usually up really early in the morning for physical training at around 5-7am. I would love to start your animals day off with a morning walk or play session! I have a few classes M-TH and can be available depending on the time. However, I’m free all day on Fridays plus weekends.

Keeping your pet safe and comfortable are my top priorities. I will not be caring for pets in my home because I am in a dorm for school, but in a clients home I always follow care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I make sure pets are supervised, secure, and in a clean environment at all times. I’m very observant to behavior and mood changes and will communicate regularly.

I would love to know your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, energy level, and personality so I can provide the best care possible. It’s also helpful to be aware of any medical needs, allergies, triggers, or behaviors to watch for. I’m a very organized person, so I’d really appreciate having a written list of instructions I can refer to as needed to make sure your pet’s care stays consistent and stress-free.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes making sure your pet sticks to their routine so that the day feels as normal as possible even though they are meeting someone new! Throughout the day, I provide plenty of attention, check-ins, and activity to keep them happy and comfortable. I’ll make sure they get exercise, bathroom breaks, and lots of love, then wind down so they feel safe and settled. I’m an active person so I don’t mind keeping your pets active and entertained! For dogs, that can include walks, playtime, and fetch. For cats, I enjoy interactive play, putting on bird videos on the TV, and giving them attention at their own pace. I also like to spend quality time with pets so they don’t feel lonely, whether that’s cuddling, relaxing, or just keeping them company.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around animals my whole life and I genuinely love caring for them. I grew up taking care of farm animals and mostly took care of chickens and stray cats in my area, so I’m very comfortable with different types of animals and personalities. I’ve also have pets of my own, including my cat Onion, who I’ve raised since birth, and a husky named Gunner that I adopted from a shelter. Over the years, I’ve helped friends, neighbors, and family with their pets, whether that’s walking, feeding, or just spending time with them so they feel comfortable and not alone. I’m very patient and attentive, and I naturally adjust to each pet’s energy! My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away!
