I love animals! There were cats,dogs fish and birds in my home my whole childhood, and I have been around animals my entire life. Cats, dogs, bunnies, fish, birds, horses, chickens.... I have even taken care of a bearded dragon, ferrets and a rat! I currently have 5 cats and 2 dogs! I have pet sat for friends, family, neighbors, and families that I babysit for when they are away. I worked at a local animal shelter and have much experience administering medications, bathing, trimming nails, walking, feeding, taking to vet, cleaning up after, and caring for your precious babies. <3

I prefer to care for pets in their home. This is due to the fact that I have 7 pets of my own. Also animals are more comfortable in their own environment. Especially when their favorite people are gone. I am 51 years old and I am very trustworthy. I can check in with photographs and text messages. I am prompt and reliable. I can either spend the night or come to your house a few times during the day, depending on your needs. This can all be discussed and adjusted per each clients needs. If you are new to Rover or if the visits and rates are confusing, everything can be modified per client. Just reach out to me!

Shannyn loves all animals. We have used her loving pet sitting skills several times. She loves all animals, and they love her. We have chickens, cats, dogs, birds and our favorite Squeaky, the pet wild rat. Shannyn likes him too. We know they are in good hands when we leave. She does a great job, cleaning and tidying our home when she takes care of the babies. Shannyn is honest, responsible and loving and just does a wonderful job. I would recommend her to anyone!!! We recently moved to Pensacola and had to find a new Rover sitter and boy did we hit the jackpot with Shannyn!!! A few days before our trip the forecast called for storms. Shannyn messaged me to ask how the animals reacted to thunder. She even offered to spend extra time at the house to comfort them. She sent great feedback during our 3 days away. We will definitely be using Shannyn again.
Shannyn has one of the biggest hearts for animals. She has a slew of her own cats and a dog who are very well loved and cared for and she has taken care of our cat numerous times when we’ve left him for vacations. She takes the time to stay and play instead of just coming in and doing the required litter cleaning and feeding, which we so much appreciate!

Schedule
I am currently a stay-at-home wife, and I watch a baby in my home a few days a week . I worked at a local animal rescue and adoption shelter. I do not have a set schedule, so I have plenty of free time.

- I would need to know if the dog has any allergies or special medications and food. If they are afraid of anything or if they do not get along with children or other dogs. The age of the dog is important and if they've had all their shots. I would also need to know which vet you use, location and how to contact owner in the event of an emergency. Also how they would like me to handle an emergency. It's also important to know how they have their daily routine so I can try to keep it the same for their pet. Animals do not always do well with change, especially when their people are gone.
