Shannon Wewel is one of the kindest furbaby parent I know. She has had many different pets ranging from dogs to horses throughout the years, and she has always strived to provide the most for each and every one. Shannon had also briefly worked as a pet sitter, and continues to run her dog bandanna Etsy shop to give every pet owner a personalized, special gift for their pet. I would whole-heartedly trust my two cats with her care, and I can testify that she will responsibly take care of all others’ pets!

I’ve seen firsthand how attentive and patient she is with animals, both her’s and my own, and she does everything in her power to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while in her care. Shannon is one of the most dependable people I’ve ever met. If she says she’ll do it, she will. She communicates well and follows instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, medications, walks, and special needs. Pets naturally seem to warm up to Shannon, and it’s clear she truly enjoys spending time with animals a getting to know them as unique beings. I would feel completely confident leaving my pets in Shannon’s care and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate petsitter.

Schedule
We are empty nesters. I have an Etsy business that I work from home making dog bandanas. I have lots of free time and enjoy getting to take care of other people's pets! I have 2 friendly and playful small dogs of my own that would love having some playmates from time to time!

Safety, trust & environment
We live just outside of Amarillo close to the airport and I-40. We have a large fenced yard. I feed my dogs in the morning around 7 and the evening around 5. My dogs sleep in our bedroom in their own beds. I am happy to work with your dog's routine to make their stay as comfortable as possible.
Pets
A typical day
In the morning after breakfast time, it is usually playtime mixed in with some cuddle time. I work from home so i usually spend a little time in the morning in my office working which the dogs are welcome in. I enjoy taking my dogs, Rosie and Misti, on walks in my neighborhood. I also take time to play outside a few times a day to help burn off some of their energy and just have fun! Of course there is lots of cuddle time too!
